What should I do after completion of class 10 standard? I mean to say that what stream should I select after class 10 exam for getting a fashion designer field. Because my aim is to become a fashion designer. I don't like maths but I like science. Please give me the answer to the question which I asked because I am confused about this.

Arts stream might be a better option for you as this stream doesn't have bulky subjects like Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. You can choose any of the stream to make career in Fashion Designing field. The only requirement for the course of fashion designer is that student have passed 12th standard from any recognised institution.

Mostly short term courses are available for fashion designing, thus you get certificate after completion of course not degree. Bachelor in Fashion Designing is the only course which can give you degree after completion of course. If you are interested you may choose this course.

The eligibility to get admission in fashion designing course is :-

B.Des - Candidates passed 12th in any stream are eligible to appear in examination.

B.F.Tech - Candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main paper.

Candidates are also eligible to get admission after pursuing diploma in fashion course.

So, you can select the course according to eligibility of course you want to pursue.

Candidates are eligible to get admission in fashion designing course after 12th in any stream.

The available bachelor degree course are :-

B.Des ( Bachelor in Designing).

B.F.Tech ( Bachelor of Fashion Technology ).

For admission in B.F.Tech it is mandatory that candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main paper.

So, if you do not like mathematics then you will be eligible to get admission only in B.Des course.

Educational Qualification Required to get into Fashion Designing field:

Basically there are several courses in Fashion Designing field. For some of the courses, the basic educational qualification required is 12th Class in 10+2 pattern and for some of the courses the basic educational qualification required is Graduation or Bachelor Degree.

For Courses like below, the basic qualification required is 12th Class.
>> Computer Aided Textile Designing
>> course in Fashion Design Technology
>> Computer Applications in Fashion Industry
>> Certificate course in Fashion Art and Design

For Courses like below, basic qualification required is Graduation
>> Fabric Styling and Production Technology
>> Fashion Presentation and Fashion Journalism..etc.,

As you are done with 10th Class, I suggest you to first complete Higher Secondary course. Then you may choose concerned course from the above list. Some of the top institutes are,

You can choose any stream science , commerce or arts in class 12th to become a fashion designer.
A candidate who is 12th passed with any stream is eligible to apply for fashion designing course.

To become a fashion designer you have to take admission in b.des( Bachelor of Design) course.
For getting admission in b.des you have to crack following entrance exams-
NIFT.
NID.
CEED.
