The requirement for SI (Technical) Post is that candidates must have vision Eye-sight (with or without glasses) 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in the other for distance vision. 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in the other for near vision.

The minimum eyesight required to apply for Sub Inspector Technical post is 6/6 without glasses. The candidate should not have color blindness.

Vision eligibility in SI (technical) Post:

Candidates for the SI (Technical) Post are required to have a vision. Distance vision eye-sight is 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in the other (with or without glasses). For near vision, it requires*0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in the other.

To apply for the post of police inspector, Both eyes should have a vision 6/12 (without glasses).

Moreover, No Relaxation is allowed to any category of candidates on this count.

Vision eligibility in SI (technical) Post:-

For Eye Sight- Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without glasses. The candidate must not squint in the eyes.
