¤ when the mat exam is conducted? ¤ what is the qualification for appearing mat exam?
¤ why we get its application form?
¤ and one more, in what baground the MBA selection takeplace?
I just completed my b.com degre.now remain at home, i hve no idea about mat examination.
It would be nice if u forward a main containing the answers of my question.

MAT : Management Aptitude test.

This examination is conducted by AIMA, 4 Times in a year, The examination is conducted in February, May, September and December.

If you are Interested in this examination then please apply for December MAT Examination, The Notification of December MAT Examination was already Updated in the AIMA Official website and the last date of apply for MAT Examination : 12/Nov/2011.

Last Date for submission of filled in Online Registration Forms at AIMA, New Delhi : 15/Nov/2011.

You can fill the MAT Application form Online or Offline. The Online Registration was already started and Those who are Interested to apply for MAT Examination offline, then please Obtain the MAT Application form against a cash payment of Rs 1200 from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, listed Study Centres of AIMA OR from AIMA, New Delhi.

You can choose any one of the two options to take the test: Paper Based Test Or Computer Based Test. The paper based test will be held on 04/Dec/2011 and the computer based test will be held on 10/Dec/2011.

Eligiblity Criteria :

To apply for MAT Entrance examination, You have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised University. There is No Minimum percentage is required to apply for this examination, Final year graduate candidates are also apply for MAT Examination.

Complete Information On MAT

MAT (Management Aptitude Test) takes place 4 times a year..

The first exam of the year is in February and the last exam is conducted in the month of December..

The last AIMA MAT is going to be conducted on 4th December,2011

The last date for form submission for this exam is
Online :- 12th November,2011
Offline :- 15th November,2011

We are please to present you the detailed analysis of Management Aptitude Test held on 02nd, December 2007 at 73
centers all over India.
This year AIMA move one step ahead from last year and jumbled up the paper (As last year AIMA had removed
sections, but the questions from same test area were together). Difficulty wise there was nothing new in the paper,
overall the paper was moderate. There were 40 questions each from English Language, General Awareness, Data
Interpretation and Data Sufficiency, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.
From General Awareness area there were questions Business, Current Awarenss, Economics and Five year plans.
Since the marks get in GK questions do not include in merit an attempt of 15 to 20 questions will be sufficient.
