I have 45% in graduation. Can I apply for competitive exams?

The common eligibilty to apply for competitive examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

So, you are eligible to apply for the competitive examination and after qualifying in all the stages eligible for the final recruitment.

In order to appear for any entrance exam candidate must have atleast 50% marks in graduation and some also require 60% fir general category and 5% relaxation is provided to reserved categories.

The percentage of marks depends on the exam for which a candidate wants to appear.
For example for appearing in CAT exam , a candidate needs atleast 50% marks.
Some competitive exam donot consider the marks of graduation.

The common eligibility to appear for any general competitive examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university with minimum qualifying aggregate.

So, you are eligible to appear for the entrance examination and after qualifying in all the stages of examination eligible for the final selection. You need to focus on your preparation for the examination.

Minimum marks required in Graduation:

In order to be eligible for appearing in Competitive Entrance Examinations you are required to meet the basic eligibility criteria.

>> The minimum educational qualification required is Graduation from a recognized university or institute in any discipline.

>> Candidiates who have done the course or passed the course in the respective streams are eligible.

>> As far as my best knowledge is concerned, those who have secured 45% Mark's are eligible.

>> Hence, I can say that you are certainly eligible for appearing or applying for entrance examinations.

In most of the competitive examinations held by SSC, UPSC, and other examination conducting body you are eligible to appear even having managed just 45% marks in your graduation degree course as in case of most of the government job options there is no minimum marks criteria to decide the eligibility of a candidate for the same examination.
