Reason has been very well discussed multiple times, there's nothing new to say. Deletion and deduction will stop automatically, when copying of content is stopped.

You are mixing up two different things. Copying of content is a different matter, which is against the guideline no. 2 and providing unofficial link is a different matter which is against the guideline no. 7. However, in both the cases either deletion or deduction in points may take place.

Providing unofficial websites links is against the EALP Guideline no. 07. The same is quotes below.

"7. Links to only official websites of Institutions and Organizations are permissible. If you give links to some other site, your post or thread can be deleted."

Points and posts are directly proportional. If a post gets deleted, point is automatically deducted by the programmed system itself. Please, checkout the 3rd point under About Points: on the ranking page.
