Hiiiiiiiii....There are many exams conducted by UPSC 1.Civil Services Examination : 2.Combined Engineering Services :The UPSC conducts this examination for recruitment of engineers to the 4 categories such as (a)Civil Engineering, (b)Mechanical Engineering, (c)Electrical Engineering and (d)Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. 3.Combined Medical Services Examination: 4.Indian Forest Service 5.Geologists’ Examination 6.Central Police Forces Examination 7. Combined Defence Services 8.Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination 9.National Defence Academy 10. Re: Job options in upsc? Hi i'm DineshNagarajan i've finished my B.tech (IT) in this year. I want to clarify that IFS (foreign service ) is in which position in upsc jobs. Then In the main exam pattern there are '' 1. Essay type indian language qualifying paper 2. General essay type paper '' , what the both mean actally. |

Re: Job options in upsc? you can apply for defence through upsc. as you know our defence forces is one of the best. and also its faternities. they have 4 selection centres: (i) Indian Military Academy (IMA) Dehradun for permanent Commission in the Indian Army. (ii) Officers Training Academy (OTA) Madras for Short-Service Commission in the Indian Army. (iii) Naval Academy Goa, for Commission in the General Services in the Indian Navy. (iv) Airforce Academy, Begumpet, Hyderabad for Commission in the Indian Airforce. |

Re: Job options in upsc? Hi, Not clear with the Query. Are you asking about the Jobs offered through examinations conducted by upsc or job in service commision itself?... If you are talking about Jobs through examinations, then yes. you are eligible for all sorts of examinations conducted by UPSC EXCEPT combined medical service exam and indian forest service. Do check with the UPSC website for the same. NO suggestions I have for jobs in commission itself .All the Best. |
