Hello All..

I have just completed my Mcom this year in Banking and Finance and wish to go further in Banking Industry, I dont mind being in pvt bank as well, But can u all please suggest me wt shud i study further to get a beter chance in Pvt or Nationalized Bank

M.com course having good scope in both the government as well as private sectors .. So, you may get Job after Completing you M.com course .

Holding bachelor degree course are equivalent course make the candidate eligible for this Civil Service Examination and Final year candidate may also applicable for this Entrance Examination .

Age of the candidate should be reach 21 years and Should above 30 years at the time of appearing the Entrance Examination and upper age relaxation will be given for SC/ST candidates and obc candidates .

Note:- For Appearing IPS Officer Examination you should be Physically as well medically Fit .

2) If you'r interested to become a Bank Manager, then I suggest you to apply for Bank PO Entrance Examination . Usually , SBI and IBPS Bank Conducts PO Entrance Examination every .

To appear in this Entrance Examination then you should Complete Bachelor degree course in any discipline from recognized university and Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Entrance Examination ,

Expecting Minimum 60% Percentage of marks in IBPS PO Entrance Examination , but yet not be released in Official website. May be will come under criteria from Next year .

For Appearing Bank PO Entrance Examination the Applicant age should be Minimum 20 years to 30 years for IBPS PO Entrance Examination and 21 Years to 30 years for SBI PO Examination .

Upper age relaxation :- For SC/ST candidates :- 5 years / For OBC candidates :- 3 Years .

Besides this Government Jobs, You may also get the following jobs like,

-Educational Institution
-Accounting Firms
-Merchant Banking
-Business Consultancies
-Marketing Companies

After M.com,you can write the entrance exams for govt. jobs like;....
UPSC
Railways
Bank PO
Indian Administrative services
State PSC
Central government jobs:
And these exams are conducted by the various competitive exams like;. UPSC this is conducted by the various roles in the accounting and finance field;.
And you can apply for project manager post in many institutes and universities.And post of senior assistant, superintendent posts or senior accountant posts.

1. Private firm at accountant
2 Government job as Accountant through various recruitment drives
3 Lecturer
4 Research Scholar
5 Civil Services
6 Banking
7 Audit firm
8 Freelancing Auditor

10 Management

The opportunities are unlimited, you just need to find them.

Minimum qualification for post graduation is graduation. if you are Interested to get admission in top Colleges, then for this you have to scored good marks in your B.com Course because the admission in top Commerce colleges are based on merit basis. But Some colleges will also conducts his own entrance examination and after clear the examination you will get admission in M.com Course. You will also get direct admission in M.com Course, Many colleges will also give you direct admission on the basis of your B.com Marks

Eligibility criteria for SSC -
1. age limit = 21 to 30 (relaxation of 3 to 5 years for sc/st and OBC )
2. Graduation from any recognized university.

so as a b.com student you are eligible for SSC exam.
You can apply for bank ,defense in Logistics, Administration and Accounts
officer.

It would be a great idea that you complete your integrated program. The M.Com graduates have lot of opportunities available in the accounting and finance world. You can also pursue your MBA after M.Com. MBA with M.Com will provide you an attractive career path. There is an option of distance/online learning. You can do MBA through this way without discontinuing your present studies. You can also discontinue your studies with B.Com and opt MBA for the PG program if you are able to secure admission in a reputed MBA institute. For getting admission into the MBA in recognized institute you have to take the entrance exams. After that you need to clear the GD and interview round also.

Most M.com candidates opt for MBA, CS, CA ,LLB ( with various specializations such as accountancy, banking and finance), retail management, insurance, chartered accountancy, company secretaryship, cost and work accountancy.

They will also apply for post graduate programs in mass communication, advertising, and public relations, social work, labour and social welfare, personnel management and industrial relations, hospital administration, fashion management, apparel merchandising and marketing, film editing, film direction etc.

Dear friend,

After doing M. Com., you can easily get a job in banking sector. Many banks conduct recruitement for the post of clerk, P. O., manager etc.
You can also try in some other fields like finance, management, marketing etc.
Now-a-days you can also become a teacher.
You can also go for MBA.
So lot of scope.

you just see employment news and apply for bank PO exam ..
because after commerce back ground you have one of the best option is bank po ..
in this present time SBI have 4987 vacancy application forms are available in market
basically this exam conduct in 3 phases
1- written exam
2- group discussion/personal interview
3- add both phase marks and publish the result

dear,in today situation there is lot of demand of good account manager or executive in mnc and local bodies because account has a seprate dept. in all company so if you have the ability and knowledge then you can work as a accountant initially.if you would not get the good job then switch to the other course as CA,MBA etc
