I am giving you some name of organisation for b-tech computer science. The govt. organizations are- --ISRO --BSNL --BHEL --SAIL --MTNL --ONGC --HPCL --GAIL --NTPC --BPCL --DRDO --IOCL --RAILWAY --BARC --DEFENSE JOB --UPSC EXAM etc private setors- --TCS --CTS --IBM --L&T --HP --CAPGEMINI. best of luck. |

Let me be very honest here to tell you that job opportunities for the Computer Science Engineers in government sector are very limited in comparison to Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Electronics and Communication Engineers. But it does not mean there are not job available for the Computer Science Engineers. There certainly are opportunities in the Public Sector Undertaking. There are over 150 Public Sector Undertakings in India which requires Engineers from various branches including the Computer Science. You can apply for job in these Public Sector Undertakings. Since the majority stake holders is the government, the jobs in these companies is as good as the government job. It is important to remember that there is no common entrance exam for all the PSUs. Each has its own exam. You will have to check for the notification by PSUs and see whether there is opening for Computer Science Engineers or not. Only apply if there is requirement of Computer Science Engineers. The exam pattern generally is written test and interview. In some PSUs its GATE score and interview. Instead of conducting their own written test, some PSUs ask for the GATE score. PSU Eligibility 1. You should be Indian national. 2. Must have completed B.Tech degree from recognized college. 3. There should be no pending backlogs when applying. 4. Marks in B.Tech should be 60%. 5. There is requirement of GATE score in some PSUs. 6. GATE score should not be older than 2 years. 7. Age limit is 21 to 30 years. 8. With 3 years relaxation for OBC. 9. And 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. List of PSU BHEL MTNL BSNL HPCL IOCL ISRO DRDO HAL BEL SAIL GAIL NALCO NTPC DMRC ONGC BPCL |

Yes you can surely get a suitable government job in any of the big metropolitan cities. but dear beside having B.tech degree in computer science with 80% you should also have good communication and personality skills and also have very good knowledge of computer languages. Eligibility for Government jobs - 1. 60% marks in Graduation . 2. Graduation from any recognized university. 3. Age limit = 21 to 30 years. Name of some Government jobs for CSE students - DRDO ISRO Air Force Indian Army Railway ECIL ONGC BHEL Eligibility for privet jobs - 1. 60% through the academic carrier . 2. No backlogs . 3. Candidate should not have year gap more than one . Name of some privet companies for CSE - TCS CTS Wipro IBM HP HCL Infosys As you have 80% in graduation ,you can go for both privet and Govt. sectors . Thank you |

I am pursuing my engineering 4rth year in JNTU afflitated college .My discipline is Computer science engineering and I have an aggregate of 80%.Can i get a government job with this qualification?If yes then what government jobs can i get?I am at fix now. |
