For MAT :This is the examination for finding the average colleges all over India.Suppose you want to join in IIPM then MAT is not enough then you must go for CAT.

Hello friend, I think it will be better if you go for MBA. As MBA will help you take your career forward by many leaps. As you have already did your B.tech, after your MBA you can easily grab a decent job in any multi national organisation. MBA opens a whole new world of opportunities in terms of your career where you can grow faster . As you would be knowing of the saturation in the conventional sectors like HR, IT, Finance etc, so I would suggest you to go for some unconventional courses like Oil and gas Mgmt, Energy Trading, Power Mgmt etc. These programs have huge takers in the job market given that you have the potential and aptitude. Being unconventional programs these are not offered by many universities in India or Asia, there is only one university UPES, Dehradun providing them in the pan Asia region.

MBA is a very popular Management Degree which can be done after completing
your bachelor degree .Since you have already completed your B.Tech degree ,you are eligible to apply for MBA entrance exams.

Although there are so many Management Schools are there in india which provide MBA course easily but for getting best Management Colleges like IIM and others ,you will have to crack MBA entrance exams like -CAT, MAT and XAT.
  • CAT is conducted once a year and if you have completed your B.Tech then you can apply now as applications are already out .The validity of CAt score card is 1 year.
  • MAT is conducted 4 times a year and the eligibility criteria for this exam is also same as the eligibility criteria for CAT.
  • You can get more information by visiting the official website of these .
  • The official website of CAT is http://www.catiim.in
  • The official website of MAT is http://www.aima-ind.org
  • Another important exam for this is XAT

So Please visit the official websites and apply if you want to get good business schools.

Re: How should I get admission in MBA after passing B.Tech?

very sorry for the incomplete answer given by me in the last post in this thread.
it was happened due to some problem in the connection.

here i am resuming the answer about your query....

dear friend for the more information about the cat exam kindly visit the website www.catiim.in

the cat exam offers the admission in the most important management institutes in the india.

there are about ten iim's are present in the india.
newly opened iim's have some low rank than the old iim's.

to crack the cat exam one must be strong in the English language .
the most important and the difficult part of the exam is the logical reasoning.
logical reasoning includes the questions about general logical questions of the maths .
after that cat exam includes the optional subject in that you have to choose the subject of your own interest .

the preference should be given to those subjects which you have studied in the engineering program.

thanks and best luck.

Re: How should I get admission in MBA after passing B.Tech?

Dear friend,
You are only in your 3rd year right now.
First of all you should complete your graduation. As the minimum eligibility to appear for an MBA exam is to be a graduate.
There are several exams through which you can do your MBA.
CAT
MAT
XAT
It entirely depends on you how much time you are able to manage yourself to prepare for this kind of exams.
