For CAT exam you have to pass graduation with minimum 50% marks. CAT exam is conducted by Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Eligibility for CAT exam:- Pass graduation with minimum 50% marks. 45% marks for reserved category There is no age limit for applying in CAT exam Both NRI and citizen of India can apply for this exam. It is sorry to say you that you can not give the CAT examination with only having +2.CAT is an entrance Test for the admission in Various IIMs and top business school of India. To be eligible for this examination ,it is must to have a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognised university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. As you are telling that you have just completed your +2 so is you wish to give the CAT exam , you first have to complete Your graduation degree in any stream and try to score more than 50% marks in aggregate so that you can be completely eligible for the CAT exam. |

Minimum 50% in graduation from any recognized university. 2. Final year student of bachelor degree may also apply. 3. There is no any age bar for this exam. |

Re: Can I give CAT Exam after completion of 12th? This is not possible after 12th standard you can not write CAT(Common Admission Test) entrance examination. CAT entrance examination is conducted by IIM(Indian Institute of Management)every year for IIM colleges for MBA(Master in Business Administration)courses. Well for your information MBA entrance test is the best exam.in India.If you have the Passion for this test first you have to complete your Graduate degree from a recognized University having minimum 50% or more marks. |

Re: Can I give CAT Exam after completion of 12th? dear friend. cat- common admission test is conducted byy iims to get admission into post graduate programme in management/mba. you cant sit in cat or any other mba entrance exam only after the completion of 3 or 4 years bachelor degree from a recognized university. since you have not completed your graduation so you are not eligible for sit in cat. first of all complete your graduation then apply for cat. all the best. |

CAT-COMMON ADMISSION TEST CAT is the entrance exam for the masters in management. then firstly you have a graduate from a recognize university,and if you in final year in your graduate degree then you are eligible but after 12th it is not possible to admit the cat exam. Re: Can I give CAT Exam after completion of 12th? people give CAT exam to study MBA and the minimum eligibility criteria of MBA is Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any discipline. So you need to complete your graduation first. Then you can prepare for CAT exam.

Dear friend, Common Admission Test(CAT) is an examination to get chances to study MBA in the IIMs. To appear in the exam the minimum qualification is to be a graduate in any stream. Therefore you should have to be a graduate first to apply for the exam. the exam is quite tough. So, keep preparing yourself. All the very best. |

So after passing ISC examination you will not become eligible for the CAT examination. So change your planning and do BBA first and then apply for the CAT examination. Best Wishes.... |

Can I give CAT Exam after completion of 12th? With great regards to all my beloved teachers who are sitting there to help us out, i would like to clear my doubts about CAT entrance exams. I am in 12th standard in St. Xavier's Institution. Can i sit for CAT exam after our ISC results handed over to us? I don't want to do graduate course. My plan is give CAT exam first then join the BBA course and finally MBA. Though my recent marks are not much good but i am trying my best to achieve the highest in ISC. My aim is too much high.
