Re: No interest in Engineering, what should I do?

Hey you write that you are no more interested in engineering but you didnot mention that in which field you are interested.

Firstly, I want to say that ask your self to opt which field for your bright future.

Then If you are not interested in engineering change your stream to commerce if you are interested in commerce.

In commerce you have many choice like B.com, BBA, BBM, Hotel management, Fashion desgining, Economics honours, and you can also do BCA etc......

After all the above you can do MBA from any reputed institute.

I want say that after MBA you will earn more and more money from very good companies.

Please dont think that how can you change your field, many people from maths and biology stream change their subjects because they want to do something different.

You can also give exam of civil services after your graduation.

So, there is no problem with all this.

And if you dont want to change your stream then go for BCA MCA or MBA.

Re: No interest in Engineering, what should I do?

Go for coomerce. Commerce is one of the three fundamental academic streams, the other two being humanities and science. While pursuing a course in the field of commerce, you acquires the knowledge of business or trade, nature and fluctuations in market, basics of economics, fiscal policies, industrial policies etc. The concept of commerce consists of a wide range of interdisciplinary branches including Accountancy, Business Administration, E-Commerce, Finance, Economics and Marketing. Since the Indian economy is one of the fastest growing economies among the third world countries, the need for talented professionals, who can contribute towards the growth of the economy, is increasing. To serve the purpose, many commerce colleges in India are imparting quality education. A commerce aspirant can pursue course related to the field at any of the colleges and work in organizations that deal with finance and commerce.

Re: No interest in Engineering, what should I do?

Since it is a serious mistake that you had opted for engg. without any interest, still i would advice you to repeat 11 th class and change your field.
But if this is not possible , then you can go in management or civil service.

The best options available for you are:

BCA --- you perfectly fit in the criteria.

B.Sc --- take a subject for specialization.

Animation ---- If you are creative and have interest in computer.

The above options are very demanding if you go to the right track with further studies.

Good luck.

Re: No interest in Engineering, what should I do?

hey
you seem to have a science background but dont want to opt for engineering.
you must therefore see what you are interested in and what you have the skills for..

if you are interested in the teaching line you can do you B.ed(for school) or your masters and teach in some college.
you can also do your masters in any of your subjects
-industrial chemistry
-physical chemistry
-physics
-economics, etc

you can also opt for other vocational streams like fine arts, civil services, bakery, etc
there are so many options for you. you just need to decide for yourself what you dream to be in future.

the internet will definitely help you find out institutes for the course you are interested in.
