Re: Maximum age limit for pursuing 3 years LLB course?

The Bar Council Of India has withdrawn the age restriction to take admission in law courses. The students are allowed to take admission in colleges/universities in LLB or LLM courses without any age limit.
Before this age limit was 30 years for general category and for SC/ST/OBC age limit was 35 years.
Main jaan, vice chancellor of Monad University said"Bar council of india has specified that under the rule of legal education 208,clause 28 schedule 3 of 2nd rule of legal education, there will be no age limit for the students. Now the students can take admission in law courses without any age obligations".

Re: Maximum age limit for pursuing 3 years LLB course?

Dear friend ,

The maximum age for a student to undergo LLB course is 30 years. If your age is more than that then i am sorry to say that your are not eligible for LLB Course.

In case your are SC/ST then our government provides a relaxation of 3 years of age to pursue LLB course.

So if you are eligible then go for it , as its a very nice course and its future prospect is also very good.
All the very best.

Re: Maximum age limit for pursuing 3 years LLB course?

The maximum age for a student who desires to pursue three years law is 30 years and for five years LLB is 20 years. This would ensure that the students who join the course are serious enough and do not only want a degree.''

For the SC/ST, the age limit for three years law has been kept at 35 and for five years LLB, it will be 22 years.

Re: Maximum age limit for pursuing 3 years LLB course?

The age limit may vary. But normally the maximum limit is 20 years. Incase from the SC/ST there is a relaxation of 2 years. Other than these the candidate should be 12th pass. A minimum of 50% in the same is a must for the application to be accepted.
