I have completed my Graduation in B.Com, and now i am pursuing CA course, I've cleared CPT and IPCC, but i've strong wish and will to study neurology, can anyone guide me how to take a turn and do neurology, I know it sounds stupid, but still guidance would really help me a lot, TY |

PH.D (NEUROSCIENCE): ELIGIBILITY FOR THE PH.D COURSE A candidate seeking admission to the course of study leading to the award of Doctor of Philosophy must possess at least one of the following qualifications, from a university recognized by the University Grant Commission. 1. Candidate securing 55% throughout the academic carrier starting at 10th grade will be considered. 2. Master’s degree in any branch of Science such as Biology / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Application / Pharmacy / Veterinary Science / Psychology or equivalent. 3. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine or equivalent. 4. Mater’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine or equivalent. 5. Candidate appearing for the final year of qualifying examination are eligible to apply. Candidate who have qualified for JRF / UGC / ICMR / ICCSR / DBT – JRF national or any other equivalent examination are exempted from appearing for the entrance test. There are few main colleges providing courses in neurosciences like, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, etc. Students in the nursing field are called as nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist. Nurses specialising in the neurosciences, is something which is slowly coming up these days, and students are opting for these career opportunities. Also, this is encouraged by the hospitals and the government in countries, due to the fact that it will lead to an increase in the availability of the skilled and intelligent nurse staff for the hospitals. you can also seek to have career in pharmaceuticals. best of luck |
