SYNTEL entrance exam is based on the following pattern: 1.Written Test Section I – Verbal – 25 questions – 15 Minutes Section II – Quantitative Aptitude – 30 questions – 45 Minutes Section III – Logical Reasoning – 30 questions – 30 Minutes There is no negative marking in the written examination. 2.Interview Candidates who are qualified in the written examination are only called for the interview test. In the interview examination only technical questions are asked which are related to your field. |

and off course the communication skills does matter a lot. if you are more well in this field then you will definitely get placement in this Syntel H.R round. Just prepare well for Aptitude Test, For this refer R S Agarwal. i am uploading Syntel papers. Only papers won't help you much you need to boost your self with R.S.Agarwal Book too. Just try to memorize all the relevant topics in R.S agarwal. |

Re: Last years placement papers of Syntel? Hi Friends, There were 3 steps in the selection procedure. I. WRITTEN II. GD III. TECH & HR The written test was conducted on 22 Jan, 2011. It was an online test of 45 mins and we had to solve 45 reasoning type questions. There was no -ve marking. These questions contain I. PUZZLES II. Ques on Relations III. Coding-decoding IV. Analogy V. Problems on Series You should go through R.S. Agrawal verbal and non-verbal reasoning.Though there was no -ve marking, u should try to solve correctly.The result of written test was declared on 26 jan...GD & HR section was to be held on 6 Feb.GD was an elemination round. You have to be active during the GD session....try to say something on the topic.....you should also have good sound quality.The interview round was quite interesting and easy.They understand that the candidate is having some nerve.....but don't get afraid they try to keep u at ease.....Cover basic definitions of core subjects.........Basic C&C++ skillsAnd programs like: to print reverse of string, swapping, fabonacci series, palandrome nos,pyramid type programs using for loop, matching of password....etc. All the best.....be confident........See u at Syntel..... |
