Re: Plant biotech or general biotech? Better option?

Hi,
Both general as well as plant biotechnology have good prospect in India.

If you want to get job in mnc's then go for general or White biotech, which is applied particularly in industrial use, followed by a diploma or training in industrial applications.
If you want to be a scientist, then go for specialisation in plants (green biotech) or Red biotech, which deals with Medical processes, like finding genetic cures and creating organisms to produce antibiotics etc.
There is no place for lazy person's in science field, here you can say theory of natural selection or struggle for existence is applicable-nature select only the diserving one's to survive, and only the powerful can enjoy the suprimacy.
So,if you really want to become a scientist, then GIVEUP laziness
Thanks
