Thanks in advance
dear aspirant

llb stands for bachelor of law,

eligibility for llb :

must be completed graduation from a recognised university

must have secured minimum 45% in graduation

5% relaxation for sc/st

upper age limit is 30 years

5 year relaxation for sc/st candidates , if you have crossed the age of 30 and do not belong to sc/st then you can't go for llb,

so if you are below 30 its good or if you have crossed 30 and not of sc/st ten you don't have any alternative for llb

good luck

If you have crossed the age limit then unfortunately there isn't any way for you to take admission for three years long LLB course. This is just not possible. There isn't any alternative remedy available to pursue LLB.

However there are some universities that offer distance education degree which may give you admission. But these degrees are not recognized by the bar Council of India therefore you won't be allowed to practice in the court.

The age limit is introduced recently by the Bar Council of India. It believes that candidates who pursue LLB after this age are not serious about the course and only see it as alternative profession. As per BCI, this gives them unfair advantage over candidates who want lawyer as their first option. Therefore this age limit has been imposed. Unfortunately there is not getting away from it.

LLB Eligibility

1. A graduation degree in any discipline.

2. minimum of 45 percent marks.

3. At least 40 percent marks for SC/ST.

4. The age criteria is 30 years as per rules of Bar Council of India.

5. The age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST.
how can a sc/st student of 34 be serious in this profession if a normal student is not eligible for this course at 30+ age..are the sc/st sudent more smarter than other with their sc/st category//? bull shit this rule is..
