hi dear

plz do consider a follow up project under a recognised guide through registration and as you done some protocols you will be readily eligible for pre phd as project assistant or else you can prepare for jnu phd entrance, net, gate, icmr, icrai, etc which provide phds through good merits and cutoff after counselling. best of luck go ahead.

hi dear

minimum requirements eligiblity is 55 % in bsc grad, so keep an eye on your bsc aggregate, yes you can do phd but as phd integrated course after bsc course through jnu, iisc, imtech chandigargh, etc. minimum eligibilty is notified at bsc and msc level generally universally demand 60 % above, so leave your past 10 12th percentage. best of luck

hi dear,

since u don't get to see previous yr's q. paper- i'd advise u to sit for as many competitive exams--e.g. JEST 2005, IISc, JNU entrance exam etc. as u can-- so that u get acquianted with their question types. exams r formula based-- i'm sorry to say u need to mug them up first!!! enroll for JEST immediately-- it's date may already be over-- after that there are some books which u'll have to go thru-- like griffiths, kleppner etc best of luck go ahead

Re: What is the eligibility criteria to do PhD in Biotechnology?

you can not do p.hd. in biotech unless you have completed your master degree in biotech or any other relevent field.

however, you can opt for integrated course (m.sc.+p.hd.),which will save your one years.

however, some foreign institutes have such program (mbbs+p.hd) etc.

Re: What is the eligibility criteria to do PhD in Biotechnology?

No, you cannot do Ph. D. directly after MBBS. Firstly you will have to do M. Sc. or M. E. or M. Tech. in Biotechnology and then you do Ph. D. in Biotechnology because for doing Ph. D., master's degree is required and MBBS is a bachelor's degree.
