Hi You can find many opportunities in many research laboratories, pharmaceutical companies etc. You can also find job opportunities in food processing industry, chemical industries, etc. You can also find opportunities in agriculture industries, environmental industries, etc. It will be good option to do a Masters degree in Biotech. It will help you to find better opportunities in good companies. Biotechnology for year 2012-2013 through their entrance exam? Even companies like Dr.Reddy's,Ranbaxy,Aurobindo etc recruits B.Sc Bio-technology candidates. But if you have masters in hand, you can start career on a high note. You can get high salary and better designation in the company. If you want to join other than bio-technology streams, then it matters only graduation with better academic record.For that no need of masters. You can write exams like Bank PO,RRB,state service exams, Defence,Army,UPSC etc., All the best |

So it is depends on you as per your interest for higher studies. After B.Sc. in Biotechnology there is job opportunity in various type of job. As a graduate you can apply for Civil Services Exam, Bank P.O.,Defence job, you can also apply to other Govt. or Private sector job which requires graduate from Science or any stream. After B.Sc. in Biotechnology you can opt for higher study such as M.Sc. in Biotechnology and is eligible to apply for GATE. You can also opt for MBA if you are interested which requires minimum 50% marks in graduation and built a carrier in management which will fetch you lucrative starting salary. |

Is it necessary to do masters after that? higher study is always a better option than job or anything. if you do M.Sc in Biotechnology after completion of your B.Sc then you will face more scope and more opportunity. after completion of B.Sc in biotechnology if you want to do job then you may go for job. there are so many private company those recruit Biotechnology graduates. you may also go for government job for which only graduation degree is required irrespective of the stream of study like Civil services, Indian army, Indian defense sector etc. you may also join in a private organization post for which only graduation degree is required. if you are not further interested to study on biotechnology then you may go for MBA study. for MBA any graduate are eligible irrespective of branch of study. you should have minimum of 50% marks for general category candidates in graduation to appear in MBA entrance examination. MBA is totally study on management subject. after completion of MBA you will get good job with good salary. try to take admission in MBA in a good institution if you are interested in MBA. otherwise if you are interested for higher study but other than MBA then first complete your M.Sc in biotechnology then you may go for M.Tech in biotechnology through GATE examination. best of luck. |
