No. You are not eligible for it. Bank for clerk post demand at-least 60% in 10+2.

5% relaxation is given to SC/ST candidate.

Re: Is there any scope for banking in this coming future?

Hi dear,
banking has too much scope in the present era ..

all are crazy about money and hence banking so there lot of work to do for banks and for that they need large amount of man power that's you ...

large no. of vacancies are notified every year so there is a very good scope for it and for filling them various all india exams are conducted and also on-campus placements are done from colleges ..

Doing masters in banking is a very good step as banks looks for the students who are little bit mature in understanding the processes which are less satisfied by bachelors and pursuing GNIIT will add to the value of your masters degree but you need to be more focussed now as you will be preparing for two degrees...

RIZVI college is a good place to go for masters so don't worry about it ..

Thanks

Re: Is there any scope for banking in this coming future?

hi,
It is good that you persued your graduation from GNIIT, As far as this course is concerned , this has its unique significance.
The Master programme Banking and Finance qualifies students for assuming demanding tasks in the financial services sector. Beside the examination of leading theories and concepts, which seek to prepare students for their professional experience.
A major concern of this Master programme is to introduce students - by seminars and a Master thesis - to major fields of research in banking and finance. However you can not get such jobs in India, it is an advise that you persue your masters in foreign because in India your master would be ragarded as ordinary one , and such type of qulification jobs are not published either.
thanks

I hv completed my engineering with 72% marks in Information Technology in 2009.
In 10th I had 78% & in 12th I had 65%. Is it justified that I apply for bank jobs where simple gratuates are also dere with me in the competition?
Is dere any extra advantage for Engineers in banking sectors apart from those who hv completed their graduation of 3 years ?

Re: Is it any scope for banking in this coming future?

banking is not a small field .and according to me it is an evergreen field. if we look in past 4 or 5 years then we can say that the number of banks are increased rapidly. the banks had opened their branches in small towns and cities which clearly shows that it is increasing and is expected to increase further in coming future.

so, there is nothing wrong in choosing your career in banking sector . go for it .
salary is also good here .

Re: Is it any scope for banking in this coming future?

yes..there is lot of scope in banking sector.it is so crazy because...it is government...there will be lots of previlges for us ..if we do government jobs..and paticularly..bank exams..as thay high salaries...it is conducted all over india ..as it under central government...so,it is very beneficiary..so,this is the reason for heavy competition..suppose..if there 24 vacanies...the candidates appling for that job will be 5000 members..and qualification will be useful in the personal interview..first you need to selected in the first step of test..in that most will be eliminated..so u need to study well dear.as you have studied the courses relating to the banking..you do have more chances to get in.....all the best
