Re: medical colleges in gulf for post graduation to make a career in medicine? hii friends ... iam from pakistan and i have just completed my mbbs n now doing internship in government hospital pakistan ..... i want to do postgraduation n job side by side abroad in gynae n obs.....kindly help me n give me good suggestions for postgraduation in gynae/obs......as career for trainess docs is not much good in pak...plz help me in finding my destination....it wil b very good if i can find any postgraduation progrmme in gulf country ......thanks n m waiting for sugestions :) |

To be post graduate in medicine you should have a minimum of 60% in MBBS.The admissions in colleges will vary based on your rank in the entrance exam conducted by the medical colleges for post graduation and the seats available. Harvard Medical School Dubai Center; Medical University of Bahrain; Arabian Gulf University (AGU); RCSI - Medical University of Bahrain, Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar are some of the medical colleges in gulf. |

There are very few institutre in gulf countries for medical degree courses,and I think in OMAN you will dont find any good institute for it you have to depart from there for good education. The Gulf Medical College has now been approved and recognized into Gulf Medical University, effective 1st July 2008, following a Decree No. 1, dated 28 January, issued by His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman and Member of the Supreme Council, UAE. Arabian Gulf University,Bahrain RCSI - Medical University of Bahrain,website-http://www.rcsi-mub.com/ College of Health Sciences, Bahrain You can also go to king faisal group of institutions for any type of medical course,which is in Saudi Arab.
