Dear Friend,

* UPSC Stands for "Union Public Service Commission".

* UPSC Exams are for the selection of candidates as class-i officers for various posts.

* The Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Exams are :

a) You must have completed your graduation from any recognized college/university.

b) You must be an Indian Citizen.

c) Your age must lie in between 21-30 years.

d) There is also a relaxation in upper age if you are a candidate from reserved category.

e) The number of times you are allowed to sit for UPSC exams -

General Category - 4

OBC Category - 7

SC/ST Category - No Limit.

Eligibility criteria for UPSC :

Academic Qualification :
The candidate must be graduate from any university.

Age Limit :
For General :21 to 30 years.
[SC/ST will get 5 years age relaxation and OBC will get 3 year age relaxation]

after completion of B.Tech or in last year of B.Tech in electronics and telecommunication engineering you will be eligible mainly for two different UPSC examination. for some few other examination also you will be eligible but two main examination are
1. Engineering Service examination
2. Civil service examination

for engineering service examination the eligibility criterion is candidate should have B.E or B.Tech in any of the following stream of engineering
Category I—Civil Engineering.
Category II—Mechanical Engineering.
Category III—Electrical Engineering.
Category IV—Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

also the age of the candidates must be in between 21 to 30 to apply for the engineering service examination for general category candidates. here i am attaching the notification for engineering service examination 2011. go through the attachment for more eligibility criterion and other details about the examination.

for civil service examination any graduate students from any discipline from a recognized university are eligible. the age of the candidates must be in between 21 to 30 to appear in civil service examination for general category candidate. here also i am attaching the notification for civil service examination 2011. go through the attachment you will get all details about the civil service examination.
