Dear Friend,
Institute of company Secretary of India provides the Company Secretary course. This is a professional course. It can be done along with any other regular degree course.
The Course is divided into three stages:
  1. The Foundation Program
  2. The Executive Program
  3. The Professional Program
The eligibility critaria to apply for the Foundation Program is that the candidate should has passed 10+2.
The eligibility criteria to apply for the Professional Program of CS course is that the candidate should has passed the Foundation Program or the candidates should has passed Graduation.
After clearing the Professional Program one can become eligible for the Professional Program.
As you have passed Graduation you are eligible to directly apply for the executive program of the CS course.

CS - COMPANY SECRETARY course is conducted by Institute of Company Secretary of India.

The course is comprises of three parts:-

1. FOUNDATION PROGRAMME
2. EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME
3. PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME

After graduation in Commerce you can directly go for Executive Programme of CS Course.
After qualifying the Executive Programme you can apply for Professional Programme.

Pass Foundation Programme:

For that-:

Pass 10+2 or equivalent examination than you can enroll with the institute for foundation course.
It is necessary to complete the compulsory postal coaching before appearing in the exam.
On passing the foundation examination you can register with the institute for intermediate course.

Pass Executive Programme:

For that:-

Graduates and those who have passed out of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountancy or the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India can enter straightaway at this level.
Complete the compulsory postal coaching for the intermediate course.
Pass the intermediate examination. It consist of two groups, one can appear for either the groups or a single group in first attempt.
It is also compulsory to complete 72 hours computer training.
Enroll for the final course.

Pass Professional Programme:

For that:-

Complete the compulsory postal coaching for the final course.
During this period or after this period the student is also required to undergo management training or apprenticeship with a company recognized by the Institute or with a recognized practicing company Secretary.

Now a student qualifies for membership of the Institute on admission as an Associate member, he or she is entitled to use the descriptive letters “ACS” after his name. Senior members in the profession are eligible for admission as Fellow Members, and on admission as Fellow Members they are eligible to use the descriptive letters “FCS” after their names.

company secretary course is organised by ICSI (Indian Institute of company secretaries of India)
you must have some qualification is listed
  • 10+2 exam qualified from any stream(Arts , Comerse , science).
  • those who are appearing in 10+2 ,are also elligible for appearing in this exam
the cs course is by correspondence/ distance learning with provision for optional
oral coaching classes.

Company Secretary course is conducted by Institute of Company Secretary of India (ICSI).

The whole course is divided into three sections.

1. Foundation Program
One can register the Foundation examination after 12th.
The fee for the foundation course is Rs.3,600/-

2. Executive Program
One can apply for this program after qualifying the Foundation program
or
Also, one can register for Ecxecutive program if he/she has completed graduation.
Graduates are not required to qualify the Foundation examination.
They can directly apply for Executive program.
The fee for the Executive course is;
Rs.6,500/- For Foundation course passed candidates
Rs.7,000/- For Commerce graduates
Rs.7,750/- For Non-commerce graduates.

3. Professional Program
One can apply for this exam only after qualifying the Executive Program.
The fee for the course is Rs.7,500/-.
