Can I give UPSC exam based on HSC science?

UPSC which stands for Union Public Service Commission conducts so many exams like-NDA/NA, IAS,IES,IPS ,SCRA e.t.c and here you have not provided the enough information about the exam in which you want to appear.

But on the basis of your class 12th science stream , you can appear in NDA/NA and SCRA examiantion .The Details are as follows :

Information about National Defence Academy
  • This exam is conducted twice a year with name NDA-I and NDA-II
  • For appearing in this exam you must have either passed or appearing in class 12th exam with science stream and maths cumpulsory.
  • Your age should lie between 16.5 to 19 years.
  • The notifications are published in the official website of upsc that is http://www.upsc.gov.in and employement news .

Information Regarding SCRA Exam
  • SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam
  • The candidates aspiring for the SCRA examination must have attained 17 years of age and must not have completed 21 years on 1st August of the year of examination
  • Must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
  • Graduates with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects may also apply.
  • Notifications are published in the official website of upsc that is http://www.upsc.gov.in and also in the employement news.

If you are willing to appear in the civil services exam like -IAS or IPS then you will have to complete your graduation first because these exams need atleast Graduation degree .
