Re: Can I apply for Air Force after scoring 55% aggregate in B.E IT? Hi am 23 years old, BE graduate with 57% aggregate, which exam should i take up to join IAF and wen will it be conducted, and can u guide me how to apply for that, and am i eligable??? |

Re: Can I apply for Air Force after scoring 55% aggregate in B.E IT? Sir, Myself Anurag Mishra and I completed B.E.Civil from Pune University with Aggregate % 56 and I have scored in Last year 63%. Is it any MNCS which take candidate based on above profile after qualifing Gate 2014. |

Dear friend, If You want to join Air Force Exam then go for CDSE , UES ,NCC SPECIAL ENTRY but you must be graduate from recognized board. Details of these exams are given below. Those candidate are completed graduation are eligible for CDSE exam but 12 standard subject must be Math and Physics. B-TECH ans BE student are also eligible for this exam .But you have not any Pending Backlog. Final Year student are also eligible for CDSE exam.There is no percentage marks criteria. AGE CRITERIA Indian Military Academy - 19-24 Years Air Force Academy - 19-23 Years Naval Academy - 19-22 Years Officer's Training Academy - 19-25 Years Those candidate are in Pre-final year or completed BE / B Tech degree course in the relevant streams of engineering as mentioned above and must have secured minimum of 60% marks in aggregate are eligible UES exam. But you have not any Pending Backlog. Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years. Those candidate have completed graduation are eligible NCC SPECIAL ENTRY exam.You must have NCC C certificate. Yes, you can apply in I.A.F after completing B.E(I.T). For this you have to qualify the Combine Defence Services Exam(C.D.S.E). C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. For this you age should be in between 19-24 year. There are 3 steps of selection:- -Written exam. -Interview -medical exam. If you qualify all the exam then you will be selected for I.A.F. ALL THE BEST! |

Re: Can I apply for Air Force after scoring 55% aggregate in B.E IT? You can apply for Flying Branch of Indian Air Force through Combined Defence Services Examination. As an engineer there are other modes of entry too in the Indian Air Force but those modes of entry require at least 60% marks in B.E. You can get a job in IAF only through CDS examination because there is no percentage restriction. The CDS examination is conducted by UPSC twice a year. The age limit for the exam is 19-23 years. The advertisement of the exam, is published in leading national dailies and in Employment News. Visit the UPSC website for schedule of CDS exams to be conducted next year. |
