yes definately you can appear for afcat exam since the eligibility is minimum 21 yrs old, above 60% marks and no active backlog.also the afcat exam consists of 2 stages-
written objective test
ssb interview
the written test is objective in nature and is of 3 hours duration comprising questions from your graduation subjects and general sciences.
the ssb interview is generally tough and almost half of selected candidates are out in the very first day.also you should always be physically and mentally alert to be successful in the exam since they ask very straight forward questions and you have to answer them clearly without thinking for long.the ssb interviews are conducted in dehradun, mysore and benaras.

You need to be 60% aggregate in all your Years in graduation i.e you should have 60% overall (More Details See the Notification)

Previous year Papers are not available on net so It is better to go with syllabus and recommended books.

Syllabus Consists of Reasoning, Verbal ability, General Awareness , Numerical ability & General Aptitude. Exam will be of 2 hrs Duration with Objective questions.

For preparations:- Books you should refer R S Agarwal quantitative aptitude, For Gk. Go for manorama, Composition success Review magazine. General Awareness Go Books for IAS.
