Hai, you want know about eligibility criteria for IIT JEE and AIEEE . Here are the details:- The AIEEE has been replaced by JEE Main from 2013 onward . AIEEE 2012 was the last edition of the exam.The IIT JEE has been replaced by JEE Advanced from 2013 onward. 1.AIEEE and IIT:- 1.Candidate should be Indian. 2.Age of the candidate should be 16 to 24 years. And there is 5 years of relaxation for SC/ST/PD candidates. 3.The 10+2 level examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Education Examination. |

If he misses the chance after giving first time, he cannot give the next year. List of Top IIT-JEE Government Colleges is here:
ELIGIBILITY FOR IIT JEE 2012 Date of birth: Candidate belonging to GE, OBC and DS categories must be born on or after October 01, 1987 and those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories must be born on or after October 01, 1982 Year of passing qualifying examination (QE): To appear in IIT-JEE 2012, a candidate must have either passed the QE for the first time, on or after October 1, 2010 or appearing for the first time in 2012. Those who are going to appear in the QE later than September 30, 2012 are not eligible to appear in IIT-JEE 2012. Minimum percentage of marks in QE:Candidates belonging to GE and OBC categories must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in QE. SC, ST and PD candidates must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in QE. AIEEE 2012 Eligibility Criteria Eligibility Criteria: Aspiring candidates who have passed the 10+2 (Class XII) or on equivalent exam from a recognized board in India with 50% marks for general category and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PH category students. All the candidates who are appearing in the final year examination in the same year are also eligible to apply for the AIEEE 2012 entrance exam. The upper age limit for the candidates to be eligible for the exam is 25 years. However, there is relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PH candidates. A student can attempt the entrance examination consecutively for a maximum of three years. |

For the preperation of IIT JEE you should have to do a lot of hard work. You have to make your time-table so that you can give time for your school studies as well as for your IIT preperatioon. You can join the coaching classes for the weekend . Study material will be provided by the institutes itself. But if you don't want to join the coaching institute , you have to clear your concepts from the 11th standard and must read the full books of the PRADEEP'S for physics and chemistry and must complete your R.D.SHARMA for the mathematics. |
