Syllabus of ITO Exam:-
There are 2 examinations .

Preliminary exam
General awareness
Arithmetic

Mains Exam
English
General awareness
communication skill and writting
Arithmetic
language

candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years
A candidate must hold degree of a recognized University

Eligibility criteria for Income Tax Officer Exam:-

1. Age limit:-
A candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years on the first July of the year of examination.

2. Educational Qualification:-
A candidate must hold degree of a recognized University, or equivalent.

3.Physical Standards: For the posts of ITO, candidates will have to satisfy the following minimum physical standards,

1. Height 157.5 cms
Chest 81 cms (fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 5 cms Relaxable by 5 cms in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, Kumaon Region, Nagaland Tribes and members of ST

2. Physical Test:

Walking
1600 metres in 15 minutes

Cycling
8 Km in 30 minutes

Syllabus of ITO Exam:-

There are 2 examinations one is preliminary and second is mains.

Preliminary exam:-
1.General awareness
2.Arithmetic

Mains Exam:-
1.General awareness
2.Arithmetic
3.English
4. language
5.communication skill and writting

Dear friend,

ITO stands for Income Tax officer,

The eligibility criteria of ITO is as follows:

Education qualification:

Any graduate can apply for ITO.

Age limit:

Candidate must have attained the age of 18 yearss on 1st July of the year of examination and must have not attained 27 years of age on that date.
Upper age limit is relexable for OBCs - 3years
Upper age limit is relexable for SC/STs – 5years

Selection Process:

Notification is published in the month of April every year in employment news etc.

Priliminary exam.

Priliminary exam have two papers

1. General awareness and general intelligence part A. 100 questions,
100 marks, Time period 2 Hrs.
2. Arithmatics Part B. 100 questions, 100 marks, Time period 2 Hrs.

Main exam:

Main exam consist of 5 papers;
1. English. 200 questions, Time period 3 Hrs.
2. Arithnatics. . 200 questions, Time period 4 Hrs.
3. Communication skill and writing. . 200 questions, Time period 2 Hrs
20 mts.
4. English. . 100 questions, Time period 2 Hrs 20 mts.
5. Language. . 100 questions, Time period 2 Hrs 20 mts.

Personality Test.

The candidate who qualify main exam then they under go for personality test.
After qualifying all these exam then candidate becames ITO.
