Re: Am i eligible to write IBPS exam at an age of 32 years?

Hello Friend..

IBPS conducts exam for PO, Clerk, IT officer.. But in all of them the maximum age limit if 30 years (28 years in case of clerk)..

Age relaxation will be given to reserved category students..
SC->5 years
ST-> 5 years
OBC->3 years
PWD->10 years

**So if you belong to general category then you will not be eligible for IBPS exam..
You are eligible if and only if you belong to one of the above category..

All the best..

Re: Am i eligible to write IBPS exam at an age of 32 years?

IBPS conducts common written test for the post of clerk and probationary officer.
IBPS has set age limit for different posts;
For clerk it is 18 to 28 years and for P.O. it is 21 to 30 years in general category.
The upper age limit has been relaxed by 3 years for OBC and for SC/ST it is 5 years.
Now, if you belong to other than general category,you can apply for IBPS exam.

SC/ST will get 5 years age relaxation and OBC will get 3 year age relaxation

Criteria for Clerk :

1.Academic qualification :
The candidate must complete 12th standard with 60% marks.

2.Age limitation :
the age of the candidate must be within 18 to 28 years.

Dear Friend,
You have not mentioned from which category you belongs to. The IBPS conducts examination for hiring PO and Clerks in various nationalized banks.
For the general category the age limit criteria for the PO examination is that the candidate should be between 20 years to 30 years of age.And for the clears examination the age limit criteria is that the candidate should be between 18 years to 28 years.
Age relaxation of 5 years and 3 years is provided to the SC/ST and OBC candidates respectively.
So you are only eligible for the both of the examination if and only if you belongs to some special category else you are not eligible to appear in the IBPS examination.

Best Wishes....

dear friend,
Eligibility for IBPS PO exam:-

1.Candidate has to complete the graduation in any trade.

2.Candidates age should be in between 21-30 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.
