dear friend, after engineering most of the students are in trouble with higher studies,my opinion as a career exprt is that, u prefer mtech if u are seeking for ur course continuity and if u bored enough and like to have a administrative future go for mba.think well. all the best

hi friend,
as you are technically strong obviously you should go for M.TECH. MBA is totally different from engineering. but you can get a better salary if you go for MBA. if you go for M.Tech then you should take your core subject in M.tech like instrumentation specialization. but as you are interested in computer then you may go for netwotking or other computer related branch in M.tech.

Re: Should I do Mtech if I am technically strong? or MBA is better in all cases?

Dear
Choosing a career option is completely a personal choice, if you are good in technical line of study and if you wish a career working on engg projects, research, design etc.......then i will suggest to do m.tech and if you wish to handle management work, doing strategy and planning in areas viz., marketing, sales, finance, operations etc., of a business, then do mba..............
the choice of specialisation depends on your personality, talent and skills.....
thanks,

hi dear,
i wou;d suggest you to go for an mba because there is lot of career opportunities,
as you have done your graduation in instrumentation and most probably will do mtech in instrumentation only, let me tell you that there ia quite few jobs available in India for a student of your field but when you compare it with an mba student its nothing,
finally i will say that the final choice is yours, make a wise decision
all the best

Re: Should I do Mtech if I am technically strong? or MBA is better in all cases?

hii,
if u are really confident then go for MTECH,
u have to get cutoff marks in GATE examination and then u can get into a good IIT or NIT college which will help u, MBA is equally good but as u said that u are good in technical then u can easily get through GATE exam and pursue ur MTECH course.
so i will strongly recommned to go for MTECH if u r exceptionally good in technical.

bes of luck

It is good that you have further interest in engineering, so you should try for GATE exam rather than MBA.

hi!

Both MBA & MTech. Offers bright career opportunities in terms of career growth & advancement, salary, promotional prospect etc.

You can do either of them depending up on your interest, knowledge, skill & potential to excel in the particular field.

MBA offers a no. of electives to choose from. You can choose any elective depending upon your interest. You can choose any specialization in MBA like finance, marketing, HR, international business, hospitality, banking & insurance, retail management etc. ll of them have good scope

hello friend

your doubt is really genuine one

to say frankly not only being technically strong also if your much interested technically then you can take up M.tech

if you're not that good technically and also your interested towards MBA its best to choos MBA

but make a wise decision

all the best

I think you should go for higher studies, it'll be more beneficial for you and after masters degree you'll have knowledge in your field and you can get a very good job.

after M.Tech there are many job oppertunities, as one moves towards the higher education the quality and quantity of jobs increases.

I think you should go for it , you'll have a bright future..all the best..

If you are interested in doing the teacher level or PHD you can better do the M.TECH or if you are interested in working or business we can prepare for MBA, if you like technical wise the go to M>TECH, but you should work hard in you project to get the success in project, it is more important. Best of luck

Re: Should I do Mtech if I am technically strong? or MBA is better in all cases?

Look dear,

I always keep saying to the students that 'go with your interests
only..'

By the word 'interest', i mean your passion for which you could even spend
your life expecting nothing in turn from it...

I know my words are too hard.

What i want to convey is... At the end of life, everyone misses one thing
called "satisfaction with his job"
. So, If you make a proper decision now! you
can avoid it.. which would be a greatest thing for you or your family..

I am not even opposing the view of watching market scenario but i am also
interested in human feelings with his/her profession.

Finally, my suggestion would be...
1. Find your interest whether it is M.Tech/ MBA/ anything else
2. Make it as your goal
3. Sincerely attempt to achieve it with dedication
..

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Present market scenario...
**Valued M.Tech Instrumentation jobs are available ample in Govt. & Pvt. Sectors as well.
**MBA is presently the most successful career making course with almost null drawbacks..
**Software jobs are abundant even for a 10th student with programming skills. So, it would be foolish to look back for "IT"

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now everything is front of you decide yourself!

Wish you all the very best

Re: Should I do Mtech if I am technically strong? or MBA is better in all cases?

Dear friend,
Both MBA & M.Tech are very good in their own field. If you go for MBA then you have to appear for MAT,CAT,XAT.
But if you go for M.Tech then be prepare for GATE.
Choose mtech if you want to enhance your technical knowledge and MBA if you to go for enhancing management skills.
Choice is yours. Syllabus of GATE and MBA entrance is given in the attached text documents. So prepare accordingly.

Re: Should I do Mtech if I am technically strong? or MBA is better in all cases?

Dear friend,
as per me is concern as you are technically strong then you should do M.Tech.But it is totally depend upon your interest that in which you have interest either MBA or M.Tech.Both are high profile.
For doing MBA from good college you have to clear exam exam like CAT or MAT or SNAP etc and the after you have do better in GD & PI conducted by the college.
And to do M.Tech you have to score good percentile of marks in GATE exam.

Re: Should I do Mtech if I am technically strong? or MBA is better in all cases?

Dear friend,

It is totally up to you whether you want to go for higher studies for exploring new facts and gaining much knowledge..

If you have really interest in your subject then you must go for M.Tech for doing post graduation in your stream..

Of course as you are technically strong don't waste your talents in this case going to the management sector..

Undoubtedly,MBA has got bright job opportunities in the market, but that is totally different course from your course...

Still it is you who know the best what you can or should do...

All the best!

i think for your question ,.,.and the result was.,.

although this topic is not so hot now-a-days but i have keen interest to know the opinion of u people thatsy posted this topic.
what should one do after doing B.Tech and why?
many people showing interest in MBA field where their knowledge couldn't be implemented then why they are are leaning towards MBA.
May be due to high salary i hope but so what can't an M.Tech(Comp. Sci.)ppl get such salary.
