there are no any rule that you can't do MBA after your graduation and minimum 3 years of experience is required...you can get in to IIMs if you get a good score in CAT and get admission in to good bschool through other exams.
But if you have experience for few years than it will not harm you but it will improve your scope and giving you the more opportunity and as a personal it will be great learning experience for you to work for few years and than do MBA as it will easy to manage the hectic life of MBA in the big B-Schools.

All the Best!

dear friend,

Required Eligibility for admission in MBA

1.>You need to have a bachelor's degree (3-year course) or equivalent in any discipline recognised by any Indian University / AICTE as eligible for post-graduate studies.

2.>The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks.Relaxation for SC/ST is 45%.

3.>You can apply while you are in your final year of graduation. If you do get through the admission test, you will be given provisional admission on the condition that you provide your mark sheet and a certificate of passing by a certain date.

Re: Is this necessary to have 3 years of Banking Experience to join MBA in Finance? Required Qualification and Eligibility for MBA course?

As you mentioned, there is no such obligation that a candidate has to get 3 years of banking work experience in order to purse MBA course. Generally the candidates who already working in banks at lower level designations will pursue MBA course to get promotion to higher levels.

The minimum eligiblity to pursue MBA course is by having a graduation degree with any of the stream from a recognized university.

The admission for MBA course will be given on the basis of performance in the entrance tests like
-CAT
-MAT
-GMAT

There are some institutions which will give direct admission for MBA course.

MBA course is the one which is in more demand in these days. MBA candidates are being sold as hot cakes in the maret.

As you mentioned, a plain graduation in commerce is enough to join MBA course. But one should have to secure a minimum of 50% in graduation to be eligble for some of the entrance exams.
