Re: What is the last date to apply for Civil Service Exam? 21-35 years ,and there is no limitation. Is this no limitation is right? whats is the max age limit for the general candidates? |

Re: What is the last date to apply for Civil Service Exam? Dear, The Notification can be seen in the UPSC Website. Civil Service exam notification will be declared soon in next month. Notification Published soon on 04/02/2012 and the last date of apply for this examination 05/03/2012. Preliminary Examination will be held on 20/05/2012. From this year, you can fill the application form Only "Online". There is No offline application form facility from this year. So, please wait for the notification and then fill the Application form Online, & pay the fees in the SBI Bank nearest branch. Candidates need to have completed their graduation and Age limit 20-30 yrs Test modes: Written test and Personal Interview, The examination is Conducted in 2 stages : Preliminary examination and Main examination. please go thru website. http://upsc.gov.in |

Civil Service exam is conducted by UPSC every year once to take qualified students into different government service like
Civil Service exam consist of Preliminary Exam and Main Exam. Preliminary exam notification will release on 4th Feb 2012 and closes on 5th March 2012.And Exam will held on 20th May 2012. Candidate should have minimum graduation degree with any discipline from a recognized university. AGE CRITERIA: For General category candidate,age should be between 21 to 27 years For OBC category candidates age should be between 21 to 30 years For SC/ST category candidates age should be between 21 to 35 years. The notification for the Civil Service Exam is yet to be declared which expected in the next month which can be obtained in the Employment News and official web site of UPSC which conducts the Civil service exam every year. The last date for this exam may be on 05.03.2012 followed by preliminary exam on 20.05.2012. The Civil Service exam can only be applied through on line from this year by paying fees for the exam through SBI net banking/Debit or Credit Card/direct payment to SBI. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National within the age of 21 to 30 years of age having completed graduation for any stream from a recognised University. There is upper age relaxation for SC/ST/PH/OBC candidates. The selection is through three process:- Preliminary exam-CSAT-Civil Service Aptitude Test Main exam Personal Interview For more information you may log on to official website of UPSC i.e. www.upsc.gov.in |

There is no notification for the civil services exam 2012, but the date of notification, Last date of receipt of application, date of commencement of exam, and duration of exam is published in the time table in the official website. NAME OF EXAMINATION-- CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAM., 2012 DATE OF NOTIFICATION-- 04.02.2012 LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS-- 05.03.2012 (MONDAY) DATE OF COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM-- 20.05.2012 (SUNDAY) DURATION OF EXAM.-- 1 DAY The only educational criteria for IAS is a graduation in any stream from any recognized university..... Then take a look at the age factor... Your age should be between 21 years and 30 years. [33 years and 35 years for OBC and for SC/ST] IAS is an exam that makes you to enter into the competitive world and make you to get the top posts such as DC and DSP and ACP so on..
