Re: Minimum percentage required in graduation to opt for MBA? MBA stands for Master of Business Administration. This is a 2 year Post Graduate Management program being offered by number of colleges in India. Here is the eligibility criteria required for the candidates to apply for this course. One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream with a minimum of 50% of marks. Relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC or ST category. Three is no upper age limit at all for the candidates to join this course. The admission for this course will be given on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam. Some of the popular Entrance Exams to join this course are CAT MAT GMAT XAT etc. As you are from OBC category, no relaxation will be provided for you in percentage of marks. If you possess the above mentioned eligibility criteria, then you are eligible to apply for Entrance Exam. Have good preparation for the same and crack it. The first year of MBA course will be common for all the candidates. But in the second year, one have to opt for specializations. Some of the popular specializations will be Finance Marketing Human Resources etc. Try to opt for the specialization in MBA course in accordance with the stream that you have gone through in your Graduation. Any stream candidates are eligible to apply for MBA Course . Bachelor degree Course is Basic Qualification to apply for MBA Course. The Minimum Percentage of marks is Fixed by the Institution Itself. So, the Minimum Percentage of marks is differ from College to College . You have Not mention your Percentage of marks in graduation Course. If your score More than 60% Percentage of than you may surely get admission for MBA Course in reputed Colleges. If your belong from sc/st candidate than relaxation will applicable for 5% Percentage of marks. The Admission for MBA Course is based on the Entrance Examination Performance. You have to Qualified in any one of the Entrance Examination like, MAT / GMAT / CAT Examination . If you're interested to get admission for MBA Course , then I suggest you to apply for MBA Entrance Examination with good percentage of mark . If your interested to apply for MBA course then you should then you should complete bachelor degree with minimum 60% percentage marks and Relaxation is applicable for sc/st as well as obc candidates candidates for 5% percentage of marks . So if you belong belong from backward class then you should score 50% or 55% percentage of marks . There are so many colleges in our country provide mba course . In MBA course there are so many specialization are available like , Finance / Human Resources Management / Marketing etc.. You may select any one of the specialization according to your interest . For get admission for MBA course then you should complete graduation in any stream like BCA/ B.com / B.sc / BBA and Bachelor of Engineering etc.. from recognized university . You should score more then 55% percentage of marks . You should also qualified in CAT / MAT / GMAT / XAT Examination good percentile for marks , CAT :- Common Admission Test . For This Examination you should Score 50% percentile of marks in graduation and relaxation is given for 45% percentage of marks . You should have good academic performance . Final year candidate are also eligible to apply for CAT Examination . For CAT Examination you have go through the syllabus like :- Quantitative Ability , Verbal Ability , Data Interpretation . To crack the examination please go through the previous year question papers and Go though the Business magazines . You having any score card then you get admission for MBA course in reputed colleges . |

So, If you are interested in the MBA course then you need the following eligibility criteria : - Education Qualification : Pass graduation degree with minimum 50% marks to appear in the entrance examination like CAT/MAT. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination. - For MAT examination you need the graduate in any discipline. You can apply for this examination online. So, if you are interested to get admission in the good college then please scored good in the CAT examination. - The fee structure for the MBA course is varies from one college to another college. So, if you want to know the fee structure of any college then please see the official website of that college. - So, i advise you to appear in the entrance examination like CAT, MAT, XAT...etc. Do hard work and get a good marks in the entrance examination for admission in the good college. MBA - MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION is a two year full time course. Some reputed Institutions conduct entrance exam such as:- CAT - COMMON ADMISSION TEST conducted by IIM(Indian Institute of Management) once every year - The candidate having Graduation Degree in any stream with at least 50% marks from a recognized University is eligible to apply for CAT. MAT - MANAGEMENT APTITUDE TEST conducted by AIMA(All India Management Association) four times a year - The candidate having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University, is eligible to apply for MAT irrespective of securing any percentage of marks in Graduation. |

MBA stands for masters of business administration.It is a post graduate degree which can be opted after fulfilling the following eligibilty criteria Graduate in any stream from recognized university with atleast 50%marks(45% for reserved category) final year students of any stream of graduation are also eligible post graduate degree holder with atleast 50% marks either in graduation or post graduation(45% for reserved category). 2.A person fulfilling the above conditions need to take entrance tests like MAT CAT FMS IBSAT JMET PMET BIS GIS IGNOU OPENMAT XAT etc. 3.After clearing the test,the person need to appear for group discussions and then final personal interviews in the colleges whose criteria he has met. 4.After the final interview,if the person is deemed fit for the college,he will be asked to fill the admission form and deposit the requisite fee. The fees of the colleges for mba varies from college to college and institutes like some charges 4-5 lakhs and some top b-schools are charging 15-20 lakhs .It depends upon the college brand name and image and various other things like infrastructure,faculty,placements. It is a highly demanding course and growing too fast. Anyone who has completed his or her graduation in any field with 50% marks from any recognized university is eligible for MBA. Total fees of MBA varies from institute to institute.... The total fee for institutes like IIM is around 15 lacs. The total fee for institutes like XLRI, FMS is 5 to 8 lacs. The total fee for other institutes are 2 to 6 lacs.
