hello power engineers . . . can anyone plz tell me am i eligible for npti pgdc m in a doubt coz m a electronics and communication engineer . the eligibility column in the advertisement is confusing . . . .i respect sincere help

Procedure to do PGDC in power system through NPTI?

PGDC from NPTI

Dear Friend

If you have completed B.E. in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Power/ Electronics/
Control & Instrumentation Engineering then you can apply for this course.

NPTI conducts PGDC CET every year for the one year PGDC program at its
six campuses in India.
The NPTI campuses are;
NPTI Nagpur
NPTI Badarpur
NPTI Durgapur
NPTI Neyveli
NPTI Guwahati
NPTI Nangal

The entrance test for admission in above six NPTI campuses is conducted generally in
the month of June.
The notification of the entrance test is published in March-April.

The application process for the same, is started after the notification is available.

The question paper of CET comprises of three sections.
Section-I
This section includes questions from General Aptitude
i.e., basic mathematics, basic Science, Language, Analytical, Reasoning, Data interpretation etc.
This section is common for all applicants.

Section-II
This section includes General Engineering question paper.
Also, this section is common for all applicants.

Section-III
According to their B.E. specialization candidates have to select one group from three mentioned below.

G-I
Mechanical , Mechanical & Automation, Production Engineering
G-II
Electrical, Electrical & Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics Engineering
G-III
Electronics, and Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

Also, you can apply for the CET during your final year of B.Tech.
