CAT- COMMON ADMISSION TEST conducted by Indian Institute of Management for admission to MBA courses in IIMs. The notification for CAT 2012 is yet to be announced which is expected in the month of October to November 2012. The exam is conducted through on line through out the whole country. The eligible candidate should be a graduate form any discipline with a minimum 50% marks can apply for CAT. For notification be updated with the official web site of IIM i.e. www.iim.ac.in |

The details of CAT 2011 date notification are given below: Sale of CAT Vouchers : Wednesday, 17 August 2011 - Saturday, 1 October 2011 Reg. for CAT 2011 : Wednesday, 17 August 2011 - Tuesday, 4 October 2011 CAT Test Dates :Saturday, 22 October 2011 - Friday, 18 November 2011 Test Duration and Pattern The CAT 2011 will have only two sections. The first section is Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation; the second section is Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning. CAT Eligibility The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) (It may also referred to as Persons with Disability (PWD) category)] OR Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. Syllabus for CAT Examination :- -Verbal -Quantitative Ability -Data Interpretation -Data Sufficiency -General Knowledge If your interested to apply for this Examination then you should complete bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university or equivalent Examination . You should score minimum 50% percentage of marks in graduation and relaxation is applicable for sc/st candidates for Five percentage of marks . |

The application forms are issued during July-August. If you want to apply for the upcoming Common Admission Test, you will have to wait for few months and have to watch out for the notification, which will be published during the month of July 2012.
