..or is it the best option to do phD sports medicine or in related field like exercise physiology or biomechanics after DSM for better career, inspite of the fact that phD in sports medicine or related field are not recognised by MCI?

..thanks alot for the information. wel, can u plz tel me wats the difference between a permitted & a recognized degree bby MCI?permitted means do they are permitted to practise as an MD in India, or in that particular state only?is the degree permitted means they are gonna be recognzed very soon by MCI, as soon as the first batch pass or something like dat.Is there any phd in the field of sports medicine recognised by MCI?is phd in sports medicine recognised by UCI can work as a faculty member in any medical college & as such promoted as assistance professor to HOD or alike?is there any advantages of being DSM(sports medicine diploma)recognised by MCI in the field of sports medicine India?& wats the best career option after doing DSM?is ther any DNB in sports medicine recognised by MCI in india?or is ther any foreign master degree equivalent to MD sports medicine recognised by MCI?..

Undergraduate MBBS Course

Duration : Five and half years

Eligibility : High School Graduation. USA - 12th grade UK. - A - Level / India -Plus 2 / Others - Equivalent Qualification.

Number of Seats : 150. 10 to 20% of the admission are reserved for Foreigners & non-resident Indians.

Method of Admission : Final School Marks / Grades + Entrance Test.

Session : July every year.

Post-graduate MD, MS, Diploma - Courses
Medicine / General Surgery / Gynaecology & Obstetrics / Eye / ENT / Orthopaedics /
Radiology

Duration : 2 to 3 years after MBBS

Method of Admission : Entrance Examination

Session : July every year.

Super Speciality Post - Graduate MCh Courses - Cardio-thoracic/Orthopaedics & DM Cardiology:

Duration : 2 years after MD/MS

Method of Admission : Entrance Examination.

Session : July every year.
