HI!
I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for Indian Navy after passing 10th.
If you want you can join you can join after passing 12th.

After passing 12th you have to qualify the N.D.A.

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY

N.D.A and exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

For joining Indian Air force through N.D.A you have to pass 12th with physic and maths.
Age limit for N.D.A exam is 16.5-19 year.

There are three stages of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

Re: How should I join Indian Navy having passed 10th class?

You are not eligible to join Indian navy after 10th as the minimum academic qualification to join Indian navy through NDA is after 12th from Science stream.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate wishing to join Indian navy of NDA, must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject of studies from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and mental Fitness.

So as you are interested for Indian Navy, you should have completed 12th from Science stream to apply for NDA.

Re: How should I join Indian Navy having passed 10th class?

If you are 10th pass and want to join Navy then i am sorry you are not eligible for Indian Navy as you are just 10th passed.

For joining Indian Navy first of all you have to complete 10+2 with physics and mathematics.

After completing 10+2 with physics and maths you can apply for NDA & NA examination.

The NDA & NA exam is for those whose age is between 16.5 to 19 years and should be unmarried male of India.

The selection will be based on the performance in Written Exam, SSB and Medical Examination.

There is a non officer post for 10+2 passed in Indian Navy. You can also apply for it if you want to to join the post of Artificer Apprentice in Indian Navy. The age limit for this post is 17 1/2 to 23 years.

Hence if you want to join Indian Navy then you have to complete 10+2 with physics and mathematics then you can apply for above posts.
