Since you have already completed your MBA you will get Direct admission in the intermediate stage of the ICWA programme
.

Eligibilty to take admission in the Intermediate stage is Graduation Pass
Fees for this stage is Rs 19700
Minimum 12 months is required to complete this stage

You have to study the below 6 papers:
Group 1
Financial Accounting (FAC)
Commercial and Industrial Laws and Auditing (CIA)
Applied Direct Taxes (ADT)

Group 2
Cost & Management Accounting (CMA)

Applied Indirect Taxes (AIT)

Right now, you should work where you are working and complete the Intermediate stage of the ICWA programme.

After Completing your Intermediate course, you have to undergo 3 years practical training. At that time you can work in this sector

Yes, you can join ICWA after MBA.

ICWAI - INSTITUTE OF COST AND WORK ACCOUNTANTS OF INDIA is an Institution for the course of Cost and Work Accountants which is completed in three phases:-

FOUNDATION COURSE
INTERMEDIATE COURSE
FINAL COURSE

The candidate having completed 12th standard is eligible to apply for Foundation Course.

The candidate either having completed Foundation Course or having completed Graduation Degree is eligible to apply for Intermediate Course.

After completion of Intermediate Course one can be admitted to Final Course and after successfully completion of all the courses the candidate have to undergo practical training in various Companies. The duration of the whole course is of 3 years.

As you are a MBA candidate and having completed Graduation Degree you are eligible to apply directly to Intermediate Course of ICWAI.

Re: Can i join ICWA after completing my MBA?

You are very well eligible to join ICWA. They just require a 12th Pass for enrolment. As an MBA, you would be exempted from the Foundation course.

However, I am afraid that you are directionless. There are ample opportunities for MBAs. If you plunge into ICWA, you would need about three years to complete the papers and in the meanwhile, you would have forgotten the management concepts, except those pertaining to financial management. So, your entire efforts to secure MBA would become futile.

Please have a detailed thinking before deciding to take ICWAI.
