This is a 3 year Post Graduation program in technical stream being offered by many of the colleges in India. MBA stands for Master of Business Administration. This is a 2 year Post Graduation program in Management stream being offered several colleges, B-Schools and IIMs in India. As per the job opportunities, Definitely MBA candidates will be having more job opportunities than MCA candidates. The reason being each and every business sector need MBA candidates in order to manage several business aspects like Banking Sector Insurance sector Retail Sector Telecom Sector etc. But MCA candidates will find job opportunities only in IT companies. They are having job opportunities in other sectors as well but very less when compared to MBA candidates. Moreover, the boom or demand for MCA candidates may not be same in all the days. When recession takes place, there is a chance that MCA candidates can loose their job opportunities. For MCA people, the work environment is challenging and the salaries are huge when compared to MBA people. Its depend on you of whatever course you want to join. Go with the one which you are interested. Wish you all the best. |

MBA and MCA are 2 different lines. They are totally different. Dont think that which have more jobs etc. Both have great jobs with awesome pay cheques. If you are good then you will get a job otherwise you can remain jobless. I am not trying to scare you but just saying that you must chose according to your interests Better think it yourself as you are the one who knows your capacity. We can just advice you but your decision will be final BEST OF LUCK... |

Actually both courses MCA & M.Tech are good but according to your stream MCA is batter for you.both the courses have their own advantages and job scope in both of them with IT sector coming back with a boom but its all about what you are interested ain and what you are capable of and also friend please keep in mind the college which you join for these courses because it plays a very important role in your career If you are doing BCA then i think that MCA is batter for you because it is a master degree course and it is related to the BCA course. After completing this course you can get a good job in a big IT company. |

WHich line has more jobs? hi, i think you should go for MCA as your post graduation course, it will enhance your knowledge in the IT field and you will easily get job in any of the good MNC's such as: INFOSYS WIPRO DAFODILL ACCENTURE HCL BARCLAYS L&T, etc.... as you know that BCA+MCA is equivalent to B.Tech so i suggest you to enhance your knowledge by learning programming languages like: JAVA c# .NET and good knowledge of C atleast maintain good percentage so that you can do MCA from good college so that you can directly get job so all the best Thank you.................... |

You are a student of BCA and you want to post graduation and confused in MBA and MCA. MBA and MCA both are good courses and both demand are good in job sector. In MBA you have many papers of commerce and this is change subject according to BCA because in MBA you have all papers related to commerce and in BCA you study all subject of computers. In MCA many papers will same as BCA papers and this course is easy and understandable for you. So my suggestion to you that you will go with MCA course because After doing BCA and MCA you career is good in software sector because and you have good job opportunities than MBA. Both the line has its own importance so it is difficult to suggest which line is better. But MCA is masters of computer application which is equivalent to B.Tech on the other hand MBA is master of business administration. So if you have done graduation in non-science stream then go for MBA otherwise if you have done BCA or Bsc then go for MCA. However the final choice is yours so select the line as per your interest rather than money. Good luck!!!!!! |

See no one can help you in this, until and unless you yourself have to decide your interest i.e. you have to decide yourself what exactly you want to be according to your interest. If you want to go with MCA then make one thing very clear in your mind you must be familiar with all languages and must know about all basic knowledge of computers, but if you are not enough good in that then I would suggest you to do MBA. MBA is also a good carrier opportunity for you, many of my friends are also doing MBA and some of them are getting placed in best companies with a handsome salary packages. For MBA the only thing what you need is your communication skill and you must know how to lead and manage the people in organization. You have to clear a entrance like CAT, MAT etc for MBA. I have also found a URL where students may get all information and they may also clear almost all their doubts and get to know about all details regarding entrance exam such as syllabus, exam pattern, previous year papers and many more things. after BCA if you think that you like computer application and you want to work with computer field then you should go for MCA. in MCA you have to study subject related with BCA. but in MBA you have to study management subject. if you don't like computer application so much then you may go for MBA. in MBA you have to study subject which is totally different from BCA. your computer knowledge will be less require in MBA. but according to job opportunity after MBA you will face more job opportunity than after MCA. in MCA also job opportunity good but less than MBA. i think you should choose according to your interest not only based on job opportunity. because when you will do work then job satisfaction is required. so if you like computer application then go for MCA otherwise go for MBA. best of luck. |

WHich line has more jobs? both the courses have their own advantages and job scope in both of them with IT sector coming back with a boom.......but its all about what you are interested ain and what you are capable of..... and also friend please keep in mind the college which you join for these courses because it plays a very important role in your career |

These people can have plenty of opportunities in variety of sectors. This is because every organization needs managers to manage various aspects of the organization. I would suggest you to go for MBA. Try to join in B-Schools so that you will be placed in good companies by the time you complete your MBA. You may also start your own business and can become enterpreneur. If you are much interested in Computers, then you can join MCA. Soon after the completion of your MCA, you can make your entry into top multinational companies. Already you are having BCA at your graduation level. This will become an added advantage for you. Be good enough in subject knowledge and communication skills |

For doing MBA you will have to qualify CAT,XATor MAT. for doing MCA there is individual exam teken by university. Some college provide direct admission facilities. Undoubtly MBA has more scope but you can get jod when you are good in that. |

So, if you want to make your career in software field, then MCA is the best option for you and you will definitely get good salary. chose according to your interest. |
