Re: What is the right time to start preparation for CAT entrance exam? if you want to study MBA and want to clear CAT examination then right time is 2nd year of graduation to start preparation for CAT examination. although right time does not mean that you have to start study from 2nd year otherwise you can not crack CAT or if you study for CAT from 2nd year surely you will clear CAT examination. both are not true. right time vary from candidate to candidate. one candidate clear CAT examination with only one year study and other candidate may not clear the CAT examination single time even after try for many years. so it's totally depends on you. how easily you can learn the CAT syllabus that's the main thing. time is not a matter. if you feel that you have to study minimum of two years then only you can cover the whole syllabus of CAT examination then start from 2nd year of graduation that means you should start your preparation from now. for general candidates i can say that 2nd year of graduation is right time to start your preparation for CAT examination. you have to study CAT subject from 2nd year. you may start your preparation from first year of graduation. best wishes. |
