Eligibility for CDS and UPSC Exams In order to appear for the following exams..you just have to be a graduate degree holder without any percentage restriction.. There is no constraint of percentage in any of these exams.. For CDS(Cobined Defense Services) In order to appear for this exam.. 1) You need to be a graduate (in Science stream if you want to join the Indian Navy or Indian Air Force) 2) You should be within the age limit of 19-23 years Apart from these..you need to be physically fit and should have a perfect eyesight.. For UPSC Exams For Civil Service Exams :- 1) You should be a graduate or a graduation student from a recognized college.. 2) You should be within the age limit of 21-30 years if you belong to general category..21-33 years if you belong to OBC and 21-35 years if you belong to SC/ST The maximum number of attempts allowed for General Category is 4,for OBC its 7 and for SC/ST there is no limit.. Civil Service Exam by UPSC This is a common entrance exam for recruiting people into Civil Services like IAS/IPS/IFS etc. Group A and Group B services also. you need to complete your degree or at least pursue your final year degree to enroll and appear for the examination. SSC : Staff Selection Commission. This is responsible to recruit the technical and non technical posts in Central and state govt sector. This conducts these examinations. ->Combined Graduate Level Exam. ->Tax assistant Exam. ->Statistical Investagators grade 4 exam ->Junior Engineer(Civl and electrical) exam ->Deputy field officer exam.etc., etc., CDS This is the exam conducted by UPSC for recruiting degree students in to Defence services in all the three wings. ->Army wing ->Naval wing. ->Airforce wing. |
