Re: Should I go for science if I want to become a Doctor but hate Maths? dont get dissapointed take BIO PSYCOLOGY OR BIO computer . For mbbs only physics ,chemistry and biology are reqired Maths is not compulsory . i am also in ur same state

Can i excel fairly well in physics without taking maths in 11 standard or will my choice of opting maths in additional of pcb help me to comprehend the concepts of physics better ? i personally am trying to avoid maths because i think pcmb would be more hectic and challenging moreover i don't have interest in doing engineering . I am sure that i would go for mbbs . If in case i am not selected for my state gmc , i would get a paying seat from other country . I am sure for that . So is now maths neccessery for me? |

Medical Non-medical In medical the major subjects are Physics, chemistry and biology where as in non-medical the subjects are Physics,chemistry and Mathematics. As you want to become a doctor so there is no compulsion for you to take non-medical the major subjects required to be a doctor are PCB (medical). You can take PCM as optional if you want to or if you are not sure regarding what to do after 12th. So not worry regarding maths subject just go for medical and excel. All the Best...! |

Pharm ( Bachelors of Pharmacy) - BE (Bachelors of Engineering) in biotechnology/agriculture/ bioinformatics - BSc (Bachelors of Science) in Biotechnology/Agriculture/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Genetics/Forensic Science Depending on your interest, you can choose any of the above option which will pay you good salary in future. good luck |

To become a doctor you should go for Science subjects after 10th standard and should have completed 12th with Biology as one of the subject along with Physics, Chemistry etc. After 12th or while appearing for the final 12th exam from a recognised Board you have to appear for the entrance exam conducted by various top medical Colleges of India such as AIPMT/AIIMS/AFMC etc. AIPMT-All India Pre Medical Test/AIIMS-All India Institute of Medical Science/AFMC-Armd Force Medical College- Candidate having completed 12th with at least 60% marks within the age of 17 to 25 years is eligible apply for the entrance exam. |

If you hate maths then you should go with your area of interest. it is not necessary that you have to go in education field. on the basis of your interest you can select any field like photography, journalism or many other department. |

Well yes you can take science stream if you have interest in becoming the doctor since to become doctor you have should have biology as a subjects not maths so you can choose biology as your subjects and can leave maths. Eligibility :: You must have done your class 12th with physics ,chemistry and biology as a necessary subjects . To become doctor you can take many exams like :: AIIMS :It is conducted by AIIMS medical college to select students for MBBS degree . You should have passed your class 12th with 60% marks aggregate . The candidate should have attained the age of 17 years as on 31st December, 2011. AIPMT ::This is conducted by the educational board of the India You must have passed class 12th with biology as one of the subjects You should be between 17 to 25 years of age . AFMC ::This is for admission in army medical college at pune . You should have passed your class 12th with 60% marks aggregate . You should be between 17 to 22 years of age . |

Re: Should I go for science if I want to become a Doctor but hate Maths? Hello, Yes you can take up Physics,Chemistry and Biological Sciences as a group in your science majors. As you hate maths you can put it in the optional subject area i.e you don't need to deal much with maths. To become a doctor these three subjects i.e physics,chemistry and biology should be strong. Should I go for science if I want to become a Doctor but hate Maths? i need a better group in 11th i hope to study science though i like that subject very much and my parents option also in science.i want to become a doctor so please help me to choose a better group so that my hope will get succes.but iam very much fed up with maths.i need a group without maths. |
