Re: Am i eligible for good schools after less than 50% marks in ICSE board exams?

I scored 68% in my ICSE board exams (88 in Comm) and am now going to start ISC class 12...I have chosen Commerce, btw. I scored 65% in my 11th finals...will I get admission in a good university when I apply for early admissions? Also, is it compulsary to apply for early admission? Or can I apply after I get my 12th board exam result?

Re: Am i eligible for good schools after less than 50% marks in ICSE board exams?

Hi sir:

My daughter has passed her 8th exam with average score due to some domestic issues, but I am confident that she can do better and I would like to change her school. Can I get a good central board school where she can do her best?

No good school will give admission if the score is less than 50%. But you can try out in schools which accept donations. Focus on your strengths, if you feel you're good in Science then opt for it, else go for commerce or Arts. Tenth percentage plays a very important role as far as admissions in 12th is concerned.

Re: Am i eligible for good schools after less than 50% marks in ICSE board exams?

Since your percentage is very low, you may find difficulty to get commerce or science field, so its better to continue in your previous school.
Schools now a days are giving too much importance to % in 10th.

THANKS

Getting admissions might be difficult as the percentage is not so good. You must try in your previous school itself.

Hi friend,

I don't think you can get a good school with less than 50% marks.

Because you need at least 60% for getting admitted in good schools through

merit.

Re: Am i eligible for good schools after less than 50% marks in ICSE board exams?

dear....since your percentage is low.....so its a bit hard...........
but no matter ......for 12th ......a school whether good or bad hardly matters............
it is you who has to give the best in order to achieve maximum marks in your 12.........
even if you are from a government school..................
so do not worry and study hard on your own with help of some good coaching centers
all the best..............
