Sorry Dude ,it is not possible for you right now. Please wait till your 12th class gets over. But still inorder to keep your ambitions alive, I would list some universities which would be the places you would like to enter pursuing your economics degree.
a.Jawaharlal Nehru University.
b.Jadhavpur University.
c.Hyderabad Central University .
d.Delhi school of economics.
Please visit all these universities and try to find relevant information .
Best of luck.

Re: Is it possible to pursue Economics Hons while in class 12th?

Hi there,

Congrats for having passed 12th in flying colours .
Courses related to economics after 12th class include
1.B.sc(Hons ) in economics.(Symbiosis , Sri Sathya Sai University etc)
2. B.A(hons) in economics.
Some universities providing these opportunities include:
a.Jawaharlal Nehru University.
b.Jadhavpur University.
c.Hyderabad Central University .
d.Delhi school of economics.
After completing your Bachelors in economics , you can pursue your Masters in economics, after which you can pursue PhD. There is a lot of scope for students of economics in abroad universities also. Students after completing their masters in economics are paid handy salary in both India and abroad.

Dear friend,as you are from science department.you cannot join economics. But you have several other option.Such as doing b.tech,b.sc,b.a.There is several courses in it.My suggestion is go for b.tech.if you are so much interested in economics just study b.e then apply for M.S in quantitative economics from ISI KOLKATA.This course admit even engineering graduates. For more details visit ISI KOLKATA website. All the best.
