Yes, You are eligible for UPSC Examination after completing your Graduate degree course in Arts. I think you are Interested in UPSC Examination and after completing your Graduate degree course in Arts, you are eligible for UPSC Civil services examination and CDS Examination.

To apply for Civil services examination, you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognised University. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible for Civil services examination. To apply for this examination your age should between 21 to 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

But for this year examination Notification was already Published and the last date of apply for this examination was already completed. The preliminary examination will be held soon on 20/May/2012. Those who cracked this examination are eligible for Main examination.

So, After completing your Graduate degree course you are eligible for UPSC Civil services examination. The Notification of this examination will be Published in the employment Newspaper or in the UPSC Website. Eligible candidates may fill the application form Online Only.

~~ After completing your Graduation in Arts, you are also eligible for CDS Examination, CDS Stands for Combined Defence Services examination and this examination is Conducted by UPSC Every year, After completing your Graduation in Arts, then you are eligible for IMA and OTA Academy.

For IMA, your age should between 19 to 24 years
For OTA, your age should between 19 to 25 years.

You are eligible for the UPSC exam after complete the graduation with arts stream.


There is eligibility exams are civil services and CDS exams.


CDS stands for Combined Defence Service. CDS exam is conducted by the UPSC twice in a Year.
i.e. CDS-I, CDS-II


CDS exam is three wings

1. Indian Military Academy.

2. Indian Airforce.

3. Navy.


Eligibility criteria of CDS exam:

only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam, girls are not eligible.

The candidate should be citizen of india.

The educational qualification is complete graduation from a recognized university.

Indian airforce you should have physics and mathematics at 12th standard compulsory.

The age should be between 19-24 years.
