Re: What is the salary of a Bank Clerk? The starting salary of a newly appointed bank clerk in nationalized bank varies and is generally between Rs 11000 to Rs 20000 per month. The complete pay package includes a basic pay along with Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, Gratuity, Pension, LFC, Medical Aid etc., according to the rules and policies of respective Banks. For example the salary of clerks with Bank of India is as follows; Basic pay in time scale between Rs.7200 and Rs.19300 + DA, HRA, CCA, Conveyance, Allowance, Gratuity, Pension, LFC, Medical Aid etc. and other facilities as per Bank of India Rules. |
