Re: How can i prepare for CA after 12th?

Dear friend

CA stands for chartered accountancy which is very popular today not only among commerce students but also among the students of various other streams.

It is a 5 years course and there are three levels in the CA course. They are :-
1.CPT
2.IPCC
3.Final CA course

To get admission into the CA course you need to appear for the CPT exam. The CPT exam is conducted twice in a year in the months of June and December. The last date of submission of application form for June exam is 31st March of the year and for December exam it is 1st october of the year.

Objective questions are asked covering basic knowledge of the syllabus.

After qualifying in the CPT exam, you will be promoted to next level that is Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) and Articleship Training.

After qualifying in the IPCC,you are eligible to do the Final CA course.

dear friend

yes you are definitely eligible for ca course after passing class 12th,

minimum qualification required for ca is class 12th pass,

as you have opted for commerce + computer even though you are eligible for ca course, but if you have opted for commerce+maths then it would have been a great option because you will be asked maths question in quantitative aptitude section of cpt exam

but no offence if you have skipped maths, you will have to prepare maths of class 12th for cpt exam because as per latest notification of icai students are required to pass individual paper of cpt,

so you are eligible for cpt after class 12th, prepare well for cpt

good luck

Re: How can i prepare for CA after 12th?

Yes mate ofcourse, you can easily go for and prepare for CA. All you need is that you should have the knowledge of basic fundamentals of commerce which have been already taught to you in your post matric. In CA entrance exam, you will face mainly 4 subjects i.e. Accounts, stats, economics, law and some maths too. But dont worry, there will be hardly 20 to 25 marks questions in the exam out of 200. So, you can score from the rest 175 as the passing criteria is only 100. So, prepare yourself according to it.
Go for it and good luck!!!

Dont be scared buddy,Yes its definitely possible to complete CA and BCOm both simultaneously. but make sure while doing regular Bcom with CA ,the exams may not clash. If it is so then opt for correspondence Bcom course and complete your CA side by side.

Re: How can i prepare for CA after 12th?

TIPS TO PREPARE FOR THE CA EXAM

1. Make a list of your mistake committed in the previous Examination and promise yourself to avoid them in your next exam.

2. Focus on your Study and Goal.

3. Try to complete your Scanner with the help of suggested answers of previous examinations.

4. Plan your revision schedule as early as possible and follow the same honestly and keep reviewing it and make necessary changes as and when necessary.

5. Invest your time in Exam oriented discussion. You may discuss your problems in such discussions and resolve them.

6. Work out on your presentation skills.

7. In examination hall length of answer plays an important role due to time factor. Regarding this you may take reference from suggested answers provided by ICAI.

8. Mental strength is very important. So prepare yourself mentally and physically for Examination cum War.

9. Very Important Revision Tips: What you prepare on Monday try and recall it on Tuesday without using books. If you are able to recall 60%-70%, then you are 100% going to succeed in this examination.

Again try to recall the same after the gap of 2-3 days.

11.Use abbreviation method. If you have 10 points to remember in a question give them a certain abbreviation and remember that abbreviation.

12. Stay away from Time wasting and unproductive habits.

13.Prepare a list of questions which you consider tuff or a bit time consuming. Prepare a handout yourself with solution of these questions and give them a reading on regularly basis with a time gap of 2-3 days.

14. Prepare a list of frequently asked questions with the help of Scanner and practice them properly.

15.Give a little bit time to every subject per day.

16.Try and increase your study time day by day.

ALL THE BEST
