Re: How can I join IMA after completion of BE course? Hai, Don't worry iam here to provide you all the information about how to B.E students can join in indian army. For this you have to write CDS examination which is conducted by the UPSC. Eligibility criteria; The candidate should be complete their graduation from any recognised university. Re: How can I join IMA after completion of BE course? HI, You can join Indian Military Academy after passing the graduation.. For this you have to qualify the C.D.S exam.. C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. Candidate who pass the graduation in stream is eligible for this exam. Age of the candidate should be in between 19-24 year. Dear, IMA Stands for Indian Military Academy and Candidates May Join IMA by these Modes : -> Direct Entry through CDSE Examination > University Entry Scheme > Technical Entry Scheme > Technical Graduate Entry Scheme for Engineering graduates. But, You have Pursuing your B.A Degree course, So you are Only eligible for CDSE Examination. CDSE Stands for Combined Defense Services Examination and this examination is Conducted by UPSC Twice in a year. To apply for CDS Examination, You have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised university, Final year graduate candidates are also eligible for this examination. To apply for IMA, Your age should not be More than 24 Years and Not less than 19 years. good luck |

C.D.S examination. SSC(Technical) NCC Special Entry Procedure to apply for C.D.S examination :- C.D.S i.e Combined Defence Service Examination is conducted twice in a year by Upsc(Union Public Service Commission) for recruitment of O.T.A/I.M.A/Air force/Naval Academy course.To join this course,the candidate have a minimum qualification is graduate degree from a recognized University and those in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination. If you are not fill the application form,you are missed this chance to appear for this examination but worry next notification will be published in the month of June or July in the official website or employment news paper.So,regularly Visit the official website of UPSC. Let see the eligibility criteria's for this examination and the eligibility criteria vary from post to post. I.M.A(Military Academy) :- Minimum qualification for this examination is graduate degree in any desire subject from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and applicant's who are completed or appearing in the graduate degree can also apply for this examination. Your age should not be more then 24 years and less then 19 years . Pattern of the examination :: Exam pattern :: The pattern of the examination is same for the Indian Navy,AIR FORCE and ARMY.
