Indian Air Force Airmen Group 'X' (Technical Trade) You should have scored at least 50% marks in the diploma course. Indian Army There is no such entry for Indian Army but you can apply for NDA examination. One can join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force as an Officer through cracking NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam, conducted two times every year by UPSC after 12th standard. Eligibility to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force thorough NDA:- -The candidate must be an unmarried Indian male candidate only. -Should have either appeared for the final 12th exam or passed in any stream from a recognised Board. -Should be within the age of 160.5 to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved category candidate. -Should have possessed good Physical and Mental health. Re: Can I join army, airforce or Navy after diploma? Dear user You can definately apply for army,navy or air force through CDS. CDS exam conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in a year. Eligibility for IMA:- The candidate should be complete bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university. The age limits are 19 years to 24 years. No age relaxation. Eligibility for NA:- The candidate should be complete Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognised university. Percentage is not required. The age limits are 19 years to 22 years. No relaxation in age. Eligibility for IAF:- Candidate should have to complete bachelor's degree in Engineering from any recognised university. Applicant's age should be in between 19 years to 23 years. No upper age relaxation. Eligibility for OTA The applicant should be complete degree in any stream from a recognised university. The applicant's age should be in between 19 years to 25 years. There is no upper age relaxation. Selection process: Written exam, Personal interview, Medical test. NDA exam is a defense service exam, which is conducted by UPSC twice in every year. Eligibility for NDA exam:-- For Indian Army wing:- 1.Candidate has to complete the 12th in any trade or its equivalent course from a recognized central/state education board. 2.Age should be in between 16.5-19 years. 3.Candidate must be unmarried male. 4.Candidate should be physically fit. For NAVY and Air force wing:- 1.Candidate has to complete the 12th in science field having subjects like- physics, chemistry and maths or its equivalent course from a recognized central/state education board. 2.Age should be in between 16.5-19 years. 3.Candidate must be unmarried male. 4.Candidate should be physically fit. If your diploma is equivalent to graduation and is pursued from an approved institution then you have to appear for Combined Defense Service exam conducted by UPSC to get jobs with Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force. For Indian Army minimum age limit is 19 years and maximum age limit is 24 years. For Navy maximum age limit is 22 years and for Air Force its 23 years. To know more refer the official website: http://upsc.gov.in For the upcoming CDS exam, forms will be available from 02.06.2012 till 02.07.2012 for the written test to be held on 16.09.2012. |
