So you can chose only science stream subjects i.e Physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects in +2.

Also you have to score a minimum of 60% of marks in +2.

Re: Which subject to choose in IIT exam?

Hi,

you can choose the subjects for IIT exam. There is three science subjects required . There are the three subjects are there physics chemistry and mathematics are in 12 th standard.

Some of the IIT colleges required the science under the IIT course. There is no minimum percentage required to eligible for the join for the IIT exam.

So you are choose for the only science subjects.

All the best.

Re: Which subject to choose in IIT exam?

If you are willing to get admission in engineering course in an IIT or any other engineering
college then you will have to study compulsorily Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics subjects in 10+2
.

The entrance exam of all engineering colleges essentially include questions from these
science subjects.

Presently, the selection method of IITs are under consideration for change. You can
expect the final selection method to be revealed by the end of this year.
