Re: Which books to be refer for IIT JEE exam?

for cracking iit jee exam, not only hard work is required but strategy is also required for preparation. you must first study from ncert books to clear your concept. after that i will suggest you to study from
tata mcgraw hills for maths
d c pandey for physics
arihant for chemistry
you must also for once try to solve all the previous years question papers to get the knowledge of pattern and difficulty level of the exam.
while solving the sample papers, never see the solution directly. first try to solve the questions by yourself two to three times. if then also you fail, then see the solution.
you must remember these tips to get good result.
good luck.

Re: Which books to be refer for IIT JEE exam?

Friend , never use too many books.Always study from one or at most two good books.First study a chapter from a text book and only after finishing from text book, you should use any guide or reference books You should not buy all the following books.Buy one text book and one IIT-JEE guide in each subject. Go to a book shop and see all the books listed below.The one that appeals you more is the one that you should buy.

Recommended Books:
  1. NCERT-books;
  2. Concept of Physics-by H.C.Verma : Exercises and solved numericals of this book are of high quality;
  3. Plane Coordinate Geometry- by S.L.Loney: Contains detailed treatment of the subject.But style of presentation is a bit old fashioned.
  4. Objective Mathematics- by R.D.Sharma
  5. IIT-Maths-by M.L.Khanna;
  6. IIT Guides-Tata McGrow Hill Publication;
  7. MCQ Maths-by Das Gupta(Bharti Bhavan Publication);

  9. Book by IRODOV for Problems in Physics.
  10. Maths books by K.C.Sinha from Student's Friends Publication: Books by this author is meant to be used as reference books only.
  11. Books and Guides of Arihant Prakashan:There are several titles available for IIT-JEE in this publication.Choose the suitable one that fulfills your requirement.Books in "Objective Approach..." series and "New Pattern IIT..." series are particularly good.
  12. Books and Guides of MTG- Publication:There are several titles available for IIT-JEE in this publication.Choose the suitable one that fulfills your

Good Preparing for IIT JEE and cracking the same ensure a bright future for you.
I always recommend to crack JEE other than anyother entrance examination. because the standards of JEE are that great.

you have only one chance left I guess after completing your intermediate you are eligible for the other year consecutively.

for example if you have completed your intermediate in 2011 then you are eligible for 2011 and also for 2012 that's all your eligibility will be stopped there.

so this will be your final attempt if you like really to get into IIT's then do various sacrifices and dedicate all your efforts towards this.

You have to do hardwork with smart plans. and achieve what you aspire at the end.

Coming to the next topic that is Books to be read to crack the exam in my view when I'm studying your JEE I used to use these books.

->For Physics No doubt evergreen H.C Verma.
->For Mathematics : S Chand , Mc.Graw hill publications. Adithya(Locally famous in andhra pradesh)
->For Chemistry : NCERT Books and my Narayana Material is enough

for physics you can also read NCERT Books they are very good to get conceptual knowledge.

Not only reading and understanding the concepts the application part is very much important to crack the JEE exam.

the two paper pattern of the JEE entrance exam is also very good to think and answer for each and every question.

If necessary and if your financially sound then go for coaching which ensures you a seat in IIT's with good efforts which are planned by the institution.

all the best for your preparation

Regards
